Russia and Europe may team up for moon flights
reuters.com — Russia and Europe are teaming up to build a spaceship which will fly astronauts to the moon. The first test flight is set for 2015 and the first manned flight is planned for 2018, Russian space agency Roskosmos said.

- keltin, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1Well, since we are determined not to explore space, why wouldn't the Europeans want to go with a country whose national treasury is bound to exceed ours in the near future? Heck, we've had this hance for the last 30 years, but instead of forging ahead ourselves, we decided to team with the Europeans and waste the last 20 years with the European-American space station, and giving billions away to countries whose leaders did nothing more than put most of it in their pocket.
