- robertj15, on 10/02/2008, -3/+142Wish he received this much attention at the beginning of the Presidential race.
- Princeamor, on 10/02/2008, -4/+132The Man just keeps delivering!!! He's the Michael Jordan of government.
- omologato, on 10/02/2008, -3/+121Funny how all the news networks are finally interested in what he has to say now that we are facing an economic crisis.
- thecoolestguy, on 10/02/2008, -2/+85In order for America to be transformed, all 300 million Americans need to be educated about the Constitution, free markets, and the importance of having laws that respect individual liberty.
"Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."
Thomas Jefferson - btschul, on 10/02/2008, -2/+62Before herkheimer and Paultards and Pajeff2 and sportstar show up, lets get a few things straight:
Ron Paul is:
1. Not racist - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvFLSwDvBUA 2. Does not want to "control what a woman does with her own body". As a gynecologist, in his professional opinion, abortion is murder. As a libertarian, he absolutely supports a woman's right to do whatever she wants with her body, he just doesn't support a woman's right to do whatever she wants with her baby's body.
3. He is not an isolationist. He believes in the same philosophy as the founding fathers: "Trade and commerce with all nations, entangling alliances with none". - voicce, on 10/02/2008, -0/+46The media hosts and most of us are products of an education system that sold lies to us from childhood. There are so few like Dr. Paul who see and speak the truth.
- Pssdoff, on 10/02/2008, -0/+46"Our debt is lower than other OECD countries"
Ok, Donald Trump was once in debt $900 million... So I guess since I'm still not in as much debt as other people - cocaine and hookers for everybody!!! - Anntink, on 10/02/2008, -0/+34What a shame that major decisions on the economy are being made by bankers like Paulson. You'd think the members of the Congressional Financial Services Committee would be the first ones asked for advice. I've heard Dr. Paul begging for more oversight on banking and the Federal Reserve System for years, but no one listened. Asking Paulson for his help is like asking the fox to guard the henhouse.
- Hetman, on 10/02/2008, -0/+31Lets see. Ron Paul is actively talking and trying to fix our economic crisis. What does McCain and Obama do. First support the bail out. Secondly one takes a break from the presedential election and the other releases an Iphone app. Do we really want either of these two candidate in power?
- dafragsta, on 10/02/2008, -1/+28I love how CNN keeps treating him like he's ***** insane. "Everyone is FOR this, but you're AGAINST it!" "It's a bad idea to not let the housing market sort itself out and liquidate the homes at their fair market value." "You're constituents must be calling you like crazy asking you to vote for this!" "Uuuh.. no. They aren't."
- tucsonsun13, on 10/02/2008, -3/+24Smarter than McCain, Obama, Biden and Caribou Bubblehead COMBINED, on this issue.
- marcabminion, on 10/02/2008, -0/+21Just stop listening and believing anything that comes from the mouth or hands of Paulson, Bernanke and the rest of the goons in FED and Government.
Free the market. - Pssdoff, on 10/02/2008, -0/+19and the sellouts posing as Congressmen!
- bink0, on 10/02/2008, -3/+22Paul > Obama
- alamedaman, on 10/02/2008, -2/+20http://www.campaignforliberty.com
- Tenetri, on 10/02/2008, -0/+18He was on the internet, just big news organizations like Fox and CNN were purpously ignoring him

By that you can see that Ron Paul was getting alot more attention Online, while most news sources were completely oblivious to the interests of the people - Ghoztt, on 10/02/2008, -3/+21Don't tell the Obama-bots that their leader is buying them more bad debt into a very bad recession...
DO NOT QUESTION THE SYSTEM! IT IS OMNIPOTENT! All hail the Federal Reserve! All hail the two party system! All hail debt! ALL HAIL THE EMPIRE! - shug7272, on 10/02/2008, -4/+22Damn... What a loss to America. Paul is not perfect but he is one of the better ones.
- inactive, on 10/02/2008, -1/+19Well done with the preemptive, unfortunately, I'm pretty sure those jackasses will find something else to troll on about.
- kakwakas, on 10/02/2008, -0/+17Oblivious? No. They intentionally turned a blind eye to him.
- theantirobot, on 10/02/2008, -0/+17He's advocated voting third party this election. All the third parties have united around 4 issues, which you can read about here:

Have been since I was a little kid.
It was extremely uncomfortable growing up in this country. A permanent state of cognitive dissonance. I've only really started unraveling it all and getting to the real truth in the last few years.
I wish more people would instinctively perceive the insanity behind the popular "truths" of our generation - that government is good, that the media is truthful, that paper is better than gold, that the Federal reserve works for us, that government regulation and intervention is necessary... - FreeTalkLIve, on 10/02/2008, -2/+16Education is the key to all of this.
- domnu, on 10/02/2008, -2/+15Just make sure you don't rely on the government itself for the education. They have no incentive to have a well educated population, and every reason to try and keep you and your children in the dark.
- BlacklabelSAR, on 10/02/2008, -1/+13Is it clear to everyone now that the World Banking Cartel is the real government we never get to vote for?
- Orbity, on 10/02/2008, -1/+13Well, it's blatantly obvious that Bloomberg's analyst have completely no idea about credit creation in America.
- badogg, on 10/02/2008, -4/+16Just write his name in on the ballot!
- radu79, on 10/02/2008, -1/+13Yeah, really.
I told everyone I knew about him before the elections, and even got a few people to vote for him, but many people were thinking "oh, he has no chance, I'm not going to waste my vote". And now we are stuck with McCain and Obama, which to me are both the same. - iloveobama, on 10/02/2008, -8/+20Too bad none of Ron Paul's ideas and policies will exist when we have global socialism under Obama which will fast-track us there. We will all be equally poor.....no more wealth envy! Doesnt that sound great?
- allthebest, on 10/02/2008, -1/+12No the democratic process did noy eliminate him. What an extraordinarily stupid thing to say. As a citizen(not to mention Congressman) he can talk all he wants. Even if fascists such as yourself want to shut him up. When you have any intelligent, cogent, rational arguments get back to us.
- tucsonsun13, on 10/02/2008, -0/+10additionally, he's the only candidate, aside from other libertarians allied with him, with anything meaningful to say.
- john2kx, on 10/02/2008, -0/+10"get the ***** over it" ?
Over what? Not getting elected in the primaries? I'm pretty sure he's over that.. They were discussing a different subject all together.. You know, the subject where the two main candidates have no ***** clue what they're doing. - Darbymsu82, on 10/02/2008, -2/+12I wish Ron Paul was President... Life would be so much better. Its just too bad so many Americans out there are so ill informed
- FreeTalkLIve, on 10/02/2008, -3/+12The democratic process is eliminating your money.
- SoapsCum, on 10/02/2008, -0/+9[vent] Joe Public just wants a fast fix, it's what he's used to. And now that the scare propaganda from the media, the Bush Admin and Congress has taken place there's no way that Joe will think otherwise. Stupid, stupid, stupid people making fast, bad decisions, that's why this country's falling to pieces. THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING!! Idiots. [/vent] Too bad RP is getting too old for running again in a few years.
- MindStalker, on 10/02/2008, -1/+10I can't believe this reporter. Does she have NO idea who Ron Paul is? She keeps acting like she has no clue about Paul's record.
"Haven't your consituents been telling you vote for this after the Monday" (not exact quote)
HAHA I don't know of any where thats true, specially not in Paul's district. This woman is SO out of touch. - MachineMessiah, on 10/02/2008, -2/+11RON PAUL is a 6 foot tall beast-man that runs about 375 pounds! He once sold me into slavery -- no, really! -- and while I was trapped in Cambodia, he slept with my wife and sired three BEAUTIFUL children!
- sigg14, on 10/02/2008, -0/+9obama already has one. Franklin Delano Raines former CEO of freddie mac
- btschul, on 10/02/2008, -0/+9Why would he? They don't agree on anything. Ron is right and Barack is wrong.
- scout007, on 10/02/2008, -0/+9frankly not enough Americans are educated enough on this issue.
- john2kx, on 10/02/2008, -0/+8The media is naturally short-sighted. They have to be, actually, in order to cater to most Americans' short attention spans.
- jonmac, on 10/02/2008, -1/+9I dunno... the collapse of the global economy seems like a fairly important thing.
You can always scroll down. - Grok22, on 10/02/2008, -0/+8you just piss off a whole bunch of obamatards
- inactive, on 10/02/2008, -0/+8Shhh! Don't feed the trolls and give them ammunition in advance. They really are not worth the key stokes.
- btschul, on 10/02/2008, -2/+9Well, better late than never. The comment section felt a bit......incomplete. Now, we have the obligatory ignorant troll.
- BESTenemy, on 10/02/2008, -0/+7Better listen to your own advise. Don't like seeing Ron Paul articles? Get over it. After all, Digg is a democratic community.
- btschul, on 10/02/2008, -2/+9I thought we talked about this.
- PinnacleX, on 10/02/2008, -1/+8Why do people that have vision and intution and brains never get the attention they deserve?
- btschul, on 10/02/2008, -1/+8Paul>McCain>Obama>A steaming pile of *****.
