Rockford police search for dark-colored vehicle in shooting

rrstar.com — Police continue to search for clues and information on the 13th homicide of the year, which occurred early Sunday morning in the 100 block of 15th Avenue. Witnesses told police that a car stopped in front of a house and someone fired shots from the passenger side of the car at the house, shooting and killing 23-year-old Jeremy Butera.
