telegraph.co.uk — The event, supposedly a grand occasion, opened with Mr Mugabe arriving at parliament in a gleaming Rolls Royce, once used by Lord Soames, the last Governor of Rhodesia. Two dozen mounted soldiers rode alongside him and traditional chiefs, clad in pith helmets, waited to greet him along with judges in wigs and red gowns...
