1. The person was on a message board filled with pedophiles. The board has one purpose, and it's to trade child pornography. Anyone going to this forum has one reason to go there, and that's to download child porn. The message board had no other reason but to distribute and trade child porn.
2. The link was http://somethingweird.jp/something/4yosuck.mpg ... The link was in a message that pretty much said "click on the below link to download a video of a 4 year old girl sucking a big *****.
The details are in the police report posted by CNet which broke the story. Now, I've been using the internet for over a decade, I'm a shameless Ron Paul supporter, I love privacy and I generally hate government involvement especially when their ways of law enforcement are questionable. However, after reading the police report, there is no doubt in my mind the guy who clicked the link did so because he wanted a video of a young girl getting raped. However this action by the FBI sets a dangerous precedent for ANY type of crime and whether or not the user intends to break the law just by clicking a link. How can one justify a search warrent without true intent? If someone advertises "Want to learn how to rob banks? Click here!," does that automatically mean you are ready to rob a bank with the click of a link? Hell no. Maybe someone is just curious to know how criminals prepare themselfs before robbing a bank so they can be prepared when it happens. (weird example i know, but still this is absurd and can be applied to almost any crime.)
