Report: Sex Abuse of Children by Aid Workers Widespread in W
foxnews.com — Save the Children UK says in a report released Tuesday that it has uncovered evidence of widespread sexual abuse of children at the hands of peacekeepers and international aid workers in war zones and disaster areas.

I wouldn't want to spoil the rosey outlook she has on gov types! another note the story said the UN had some useful purpose however it failed to state what it was. Criminals are criminals and should be punished, I hear too often of police and case workers abusing kids and they should all be held to a higher standard then the rest of the slugs! PS Thank a Liberal for the out of control fuel prices, If not for the blocking , suing and regulating we might not have to be held hostage so Thank them all!

The only things they seem to coordinate are avoidance of action, such as with Timor, Rwanda, Burma and Darfur. The only actions they seem to coordinate are Hezbollah attacks on Israel. How dare they deign to use the olive branch as their symbol!

Because, the U.N. is comprised of a body of members who desire to destroy the U.S., who are one worlders in motivation, and Socialistic/Communistic/Totalitarian in politics. Socialist and Communists, like their American counterpart the DNC, RHINOs and NeoCons, seek to usher in a one world totalitarian government with elitists at the helm such as the likes of the Clintons and Al Gore. I am also sure the Bush family will be in the U.N. mix too. Most of these people are devoid of the Christian faith, judging by their works and actions. Instead they march to another tune, that of Secular Humanism and Marxism. When a world body such as the U.N. embraces philosophies that are counter to what Jesus taught and what Bible believing Christians believe, the children simply don't matter. They are seen as just more 'biological units' who are taking up air, water and resources that 'rightfully' belong to the ruling elite and their families. The only value they see in children is the term 'children'. They invoke the term 'children' as in; 'For The Children'. whenever they want to bully or "guilt" the people into supporting regulations and laws that although bad for the country, are good for the elites. They just invoke 'For The Children' to play on emotions and guilt to get the sheeple to fall in line to support laws and regulations that otherwise are bad for the nation. So, you want to know why the U.N. allows and ignores the abuses of these children referenced in the story? First, they need to ensure that the process of covering up for the pedophiles within the U.N. is completely accomplished. Then, they need to spin the allegations of abuses to introduce some kind of U.N. resolution that will play on the plight of the children, to trick the different sheeple and their nations into allowing passage of laws or regulations that will incrementally remove their freedoms or sovereignty. This is exactly how the US is going to become a third rate country--the UN will continue to take on issues that hold universal support (i.e. the children) our leaders will tell the public we will do this for the children(or some other "legitimate" reason)--and all the sheeple will march off into the land of totalitarianism one step at a time--then one day everyone will look around and say "what happened to the USA?" and it will be too late because we will have handed over all our sovereignty to the UN (or some other international governing body).

Although UN "Peace Keepers" are not the only perpetrators of these horrible crimes against children, UN personnel appear to be the most numerous violators. The following is from page 8 of the full report:
"Troops associated with the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO) were identified as a particular source of abuse in some of our fieldwork locations, particularly in Haiti and Côte d’Ivoire. Indeed, of the 38 groups of people we spoke to, 20 of them identified peacekeepers as the most likely perpetrators, and four identified them as the only perpetrators within their communities. This is likely to be linked with the fact that peacekeepers make up the largest proportion of emergency personnel in some of our research locations. However, even in areas with mixed representation from the international community, peacekeepers were identified as a key source of concern."
