- momofour, on 08/21/2008, -0/+6While I give props to anyone at any age who can compete at that level, cheating is cheating. The fact that the Chinese girl on vault FELL and still got the gold, shows that it's not a fair and honorable competition anyway.
It's a shame that nothing can be done about it. We're going from China to Russia--it's not going to get any better. - andyb747, on 08/21/2008, -1/+3So what exactly did he hack ?
- Kevinthegenius, on 08/24/2008, -0/+1I'd say he didn't really 'hack' anything, he was just persistent and resourceful.
I think that the usual lay people consider anything beyond checking your email and using Google as "hacking", LOL.- fieryfizzion213, on 09/04/2008, -0/+0He didn't just use a search engine. What I think the article means is that he hacked into the search engine's cache, which I suppose is not shown in search results.

- drachemorder, on 08/21/2008, -0/+4Provide this information to the IOC and every media organization on the planet. China needs to be held accountable for this treachery!
- marphtwo, on 08/21/2008, -0/+1googling and searching on Baidu is NOT hacking!
- Umasstrogdor, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2China sucks. they are a communist country who cheats, doesnt believe in property rights. one of the worst countries on the planet. they should be banned from future olympics for cheating.
- constguy, on 08/21/2008, -0/+1China mistakenly believes they will be honored more for gold metals achieved fraudulently then they would be honored for admitting the fraud. Internationally, uncovering the fraud would gain them far more respect.
- wright3279, on 08/21/2008, -0/+3What is worse to me is the way the girls (and boys) are trained. They are identified at an early age and taken from their homes and then their lives are nothing but training. I read one report, I don't remember of whom, of a girl taken from her home at the age of three and then seeing her parents just once a year after that.
- exgop, on 08/21/2008, -0/+1Isn't Communism great? /Sarcasm
- xaxa1, on 08/22/2008, -0/+0Checking some of the chinese bbs, people are also accusing the government of lying...this is going to explode big time. LMAO
- Claw787, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1“My real age is 16," He said when asked by journalists about the debate. "I don’t care what other people say. I want other people to know that 16 is my real age.” When asked how she spent her 15th birthday, she paused and then said: “I was with my team. It was an ordinary day.”
"Just nine months before the Olympics, the Chinese government’s Xinhua news agency gave He’s age as 13. Officials have since dismissed that report, saying Xinhua had never been given her age and made a mistake."
I don't know if I should laugh, feel sorry or get pissed. - Canakid, on 09/05/2008, -0/+0I hope that the Chinese that won metals have them taken away for cheating. I hope also there is someone looking into this and not just sweeping it under the rug. I can't see why anyone would think this was a great Olympics. I watched a Canadian Taekwondo against a Swede I think. There is something like 3 or 4 judges watching the match. The Canadian kept striking the Swede with kicks. She even knocked her down but was not given 1 point. She herself couldn't believe why she wasn't getting any points. She complained and was disqualified. Months and months of training and she's disqualified. Man what a let down that must of been for her. After that I didn't watch anymore of the Olympics.
