Raw Story obtains ACLU letter on DNC 'concentration camp'
rawstory.com — The following is a letter sent from ACLU Colorado to the Denver Police Department regarding the new, improvised detention center for DNC protesters.

- Cordier, on 08/15/2008, -0/+17Thank you ACLU for putting the police on notice that they MUST abide by Colorado state laws. Unless put on notice, it might have been too easy to follow-the-lead of the current administration and lock-up people without due process.

Judges have already relegated the exercise of 1st amendment rights to "free speech zones" citing security reasons. Outside of the free speech zone = "imminent safety concern."
