Yet they have denied this fact and down played the situation for almost 8 years. I'm glad to see someone is finally acknowledging the severity of the situation.
- pompousjohn, on 03/13/2009, -1/+22Hear that? Go to the beach and show your *****. -So you don't get raped.
- anklesnap, on 03/12/2009, -1/+19This is scary man....what's wrong with these people
- KrayzieKyd, on 03/12/2009, -3/+21***** ruined my plans
- aday, on 03/13/2009, -0/+12I find this real news, being a student at the University of Kansas.
- inactive, on 03/13/2009, -2/+12So if they go to Mexico they will get kidnapped by drug czars and sold into white slavery and if they stay home they will be raped?
- zhaojon, on 03/13/2009, -0/+8Maybe if the rapist dealt drugs they'd look for him a little harder. The police are busy with REAL criminals.
/s - razorksu, on 03/13/2009, -0/+7From what I understand this rapist, picks his targets out weeks or even months in advance. Then he learnes thier habbits and waits until they are alone. He picks women that live in single story houses and gains access from an unlocked window or door. (he never forces entry into the house) He does all of this at gun point the makes the victim shower to remove some DNA evidence. This action has been reported in almost every case.
- jlimon, on 03/13/2009, -1/+7Yeah, inconsiderate bastard didn't consult with the other rapists on who wanted the Kansas University campuses this spring break.
- amanda5810, on 03/13/2009, -0/+5I go to Kansas State, and I can attest to the fact that the police department in this town simply does not care about the serial rapist. He doesn't rape often enough to cause wide-spread panic, and they are happy with that. We are just a pain in this small towns ass because of the drinking and weed. They could really care less if someone preys on the college women. It hardly makes the paper when it happens, if it does, it might be a paragraph entry. And I know for sure I haven't gotten any e-mails about the serial rapist, nor does any organization in this town do a good job of getting the information out there. I still meet people who have no clue there's a serial rapist.
- amnesiac096, on 03/13/2009, -0/+5out walks Chris Hansen...
- Rodalli, on 03/13/2009, -0/+5Not only inappropriate, but a completely meaningless use of Pedobear. You shame the legend.
- BossKey, on 03/13/2009, -0/+4What are the chances that it's a team? Don't you think such a precaution at least lowers the risk by a significant amount to be well worth it? Risk cannot be reduced to zero without telling everybody to just leave town and shut down the school.
- PacmanMafia, on 03/13/2009, -0/+4Exactly...This guy is a disease here that everyone knows about, but doing nothing about it. I've only been here a couple of years and even I got wind of his rapist when I was a freshmen.
If the cops downplay a serial rapist, then WTF do they do about the occasional rapes that happen down here. I'm using occasional liberally...cause the number of rapes here are higher than it should be for a town this size (Manhattan). - Airbear007, on 03/13/2009, -0/+4Wow its sad that we have to worry about things like this.
- DoctorFaust, on 03/13/2009, -1/+5Set a trap. Problem solved.
- IanLacy, on 03/13/2009, -0/+3Great, my Alma Matter makes Digg and it's because of rape. lol
- TheMidnight, on 03/13/2009, -0/+3Is he related to the Golden Autumn Day Strangler?
- bmdubya, on 03/13/2009, -0/+3Yeah, they need to stop busting me for weed in Sunset park haha.
- RioMo, on 03/13/2009, -2/+5I live in Manhattan and the police department is a ***** joke. I have friend that works with another law enforcement agency and HE knows that the police department is a ***** joke. Its a shame that a town as great as this one has to have crime like this with a police department that can't/won't do ***** about it.
Memo to RCPD: Stop worrying about giving tickets to people parked in the wrong color zones on the side of the street and go catch this douche bag! - DankBuddz, on 03/13/2009, -0/+3is white slavery different from normal slavery or something?
- dchaosdx, on 03/13/2009, -1/+4HOLIDAY RAPIST
- EvilGunOwner, on 03/13/2009, -0/+2Supreme courts have ruled several times that the police are not responsible for your safety. It would be better to sue the colleges and universities for having no-weapons laws. Everyone deserves a fighting chance against such despicable beings like rapists and murderers.
- Psalms83, on 03/14/2009, -0/+2as long as our society grooms the selfish in each one of us without reguard to others rights and needs....there will be an increase of individuals that will prey on others to satisfy thier sexual fantasies.....
everyone laughs and giggles at this till it happens to them or someone they know.... - EMGroup, on 03/13/2009, -1/+3If the school or the police are being negligent from leaving a serial rapist on the loose, the women could sue them for not creating a safe environment when they know that something will happen.
- Dalhectar, on 03/13/2009, -1/+2Dude's been around for 8 years. When you happen to have Spring Break really doesn't make a difference.
- inactive, on 03/14/2009, -0/+1I hate to say it, but rapists are almost always caught because they leave evidence behind or can be recognized by their victims. There are ways to completely avoid either of those things happening if you execute your plan correctly. Most rapists don't... but some apparently do. Or this guy's just really lucky. But if a rapist leaves no usable trace behind, wears a mask and is otherwise unidentifiable... what do people really expect the cops to do?
- sgnpkd, on 03/13/2009, -2/+3The US is hell of a safe place hah.
- voldron, on 03/13/2009, -2/+3I'm only digging you for the half naked and drunk part. Wish there was a 1/2 digg.
- voldron, on 03/13/2009, -4/+5FTA:
"Students like Carly Wagner, a senior at Kansas State, are taking precautions. She said she and her roommates already make sure to look out for each other."
What if it's a team of rapists? Sorry but the tag team method doesn't work when there is more than 2 people you are facing. - skipdog172, on 03/13/2009, -1/+2As a female, how do you "prepare" for this? What do you do when you hear this warning? Be SURE to bring your pepper spray or something?
There are always potential rapists out there. This seems lame to me. - DankBuddz, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1Giggity!
- semperfidoordi, on 03/15/2009, -0/+1Jesus Christ.
So the cops are reduced to telling people to stay in, letting the criminals win? - blackmcgrath, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1It's not just 1 it's the police department.....hence why they're not worried about it!
/conspiracy theory - inactive, on 03/14/2009, -0/+1What do you conisder to be real news? Box full of sleeping kittens had their picture taken?
- superherogirl, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1oh i just cant decide now...
- elfprince13, on 03/14/2009, -0/+1or they could go somewhere that is not home or mexico ^_^
- museamongmen, on 03/14/2009, -0/+1This is terrible. Whatever good it is worth, I extend my wishes towards the female students, and hope no one is hurt.
Keep alert, don't allow yourself to become isolated, don't accept drinks, don't drink to much ( ...*sigh*) and trust your instincts. - spyd3rweb, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1Time to get that CCW license.

Memo to RCPD: Stop worrying about giving tickets to people parked in the wrong color zones on the side of the street and go catch this douche bag! - Logal, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1Cereal Rapist? Well, good thing I don't eat breakfast.
- Davethe3rd, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1Dugg for American Dad reference.
"That's the CHRISTMAS RAPIST!!" - cbrophy78, on 03/13/2009, -1/+1is that like cafeteria Catholics?
- CLguySAGINAW, on 11/01/2009, -0/+0Yeah, I don't believe in rape.
And here's why: It doesn't take much for a woman to outsmart a rapist. Let me give you an example. The other night, I was feeling quite randy indeed! So I said to my woman "Woman, give me some oral lovin'!"
But she didn't want to. So you know what she did? She KEPT HER MOUTH CLOSED. And since her jaw muscles are stronger than a man's prying finger muscles, I was forced to do without.
Later that night in bed, I longed for some conventional lovemaking. So I commanded her: WOMAN, SPREAD YOUR LEGS. But she didn't want to. So you know what she did? She kept her legs together. And since her leg muscles are stronger than a man's prying arm muscles, I was forced to do without.
Feeling angry and rejected, I decided to take her in such a way that would show her my true contempt for her attitude. I managed to flip her over on her stomach. "WOMAN" I warned her "YOU ARE ABOUT TO BE SODOMIZED!" But she didn't want to. So you know what she did? She simply clenched her buttocks. A.K.A. her Glutius Maximus--the largest muscles of the body. (ESPECIALLY of a woman's body.) And since those muscles are stronger than a man's prying hands, I couldn't even see the orifice I was hoping to enjoy, much less penetrate it.
So you see my point? It doesn't take much effort on the part of an unwilling woman to thwart the plans of a "rapist".
---CLguySAGINAW - jenniebug, on 03/23/2009, -0/+0I was walking home today and I was aproached by a police officer. They had actually warned me about this and they did offer to escort me home beacuse they said that around this time is when these events take place. It was a nice gesture. The officer had also handed me his business card and offered to check my house to make sure the boogyman was not hiding in there.
It felt good to know that the police in the aera were taking protective measures to help keep the people on and around campus safe. He also gave me his card and told me to call if I ever feel uncomfortable walking around town alone again. - AntiGravityHero, on 03/14/2009, -0/+0Spring break? Time for a new mattress.
- cyoder, on 03/13/2009, -2/+1
