- Thrilltone, on 06/16/2008, -20/+1333Finally, a police killing we can all get behind.
- LuCiFer6, on 06/16/2008, -27/+859FINALLY justice is served to one these sick *****...
- deusflac, on 06/16/2008, -16/+455what the hell were the witnesses doing to try and stop the guy? were they just asking him to stop? why the hell didnt any of them try to tackle him and pin him down? i dont think the witnesses should be imlicated criminaly but it should be pointed out what a bunch of pussies they are.
- fitqueenb, on 06/16/2008, -17/+447Glad he got a bullet so he can never repeat that behavior again.
- tripledjr, on 06/16/2008, -8/+292Man how hard can it be for a crowd of people to stop 1 man from beating a kid? Just grab any form of stick/crowbar and bash him in the back of the head. At least the cop knew what to do.
- pianomahnn, on 06/16/2008, -9/+253You think this never happened before? Welcome to humanity. Unchanged since either 6000 or many millions of years ago.
- NEsince92, on 06/16/2008, -54/+243What is this world coming to?
- fani, on 06/16/2008, -4/+170As a father of a 2 year old I couldn't even bring myself to read it fully.
I'm just at a loss for words. I drop everything and run to her when my child screams in pain to protect her. I'm dumbfounded why anyone would do this to a docile innocent toddler. I just ......... - prompel, on 06/16/2008, -15/+178This is not how justice is supposed to be served!
... oh wait, it is. Bury him arse up and use him for bicycle parking. - law1ess, on 06/16/2008, -9/+165The cop should have shot that sick f**k in his nuts and stomach so that he can feel some pain for a bit. Then play Hasselhoff's album while he's dying (if available).
- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -65/+216It's too bad none of the witnesses could've taken the man out of commission instead of waiting for a police helicopter to arrive... The toddler could have survived. Yet another reason more people should carry firearms, perhaps? Which is surprising because judging by the location's description, they definitely should have been armed...
- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -6/+141He was shot because he refused to stop killing somone else.
A trial has no bearing in the situation. - gryphon50, on 06/16/2008, -0/+135at least the first couple were elderly, probably not strong enough. Not sure about the others though.
- tobikow, on 06/16/2008, -4/+132should have killed him twice.
- Scrappy1850, on 06/16/2008, -1/+1133 cars pulled up and not one of them had a tire iron?
- tylermenezes, on 06/16/2008, -4/+104For once I agree with the cops.
- UnleashX, on 06/16/2008, -4/+99I'm glad the cop killed him ... judicial system would probably have let this guy out in 5-10 years.
- NeoMatrixJR, on 06/16/2008, -5/+95Unfortunately, the "justice" will probably involve the police being sued. Personally, I exonerate them as heroes.
- TheBadWolf, on 06/16/2008, -5/+95When a child is being beaten to death, you don't get "shaken off." You drive a tire iron through his brain.
- RonnyIsRondo, on 06/16/2008, -18/+108Happy Fathers Day
- bemenaker, on 06/16/2008, -0/+74I can't believe it took until the cop got there to stop him. It sounds like others tried, but damn, how could you fail in that case.
- DonSlice, on 06/16/2008, -9/+80That is just ***** up. I would've taken a log or something to the guy's head.
***** sociopaths.... - Thorpe, on 06/16/2008, -12/+82What a sick *****. Enjoy hell.
- Snuff99, on 06/16/2008, -4/+70No words can describe the anger I felt when I read this.
I wish that animals death could have been slow and painful. Nothing is more deserving of a painful death then hurting a child. Hope he burns. - IphtashuFitz, on 06/16/2008, -0/+63Unfortunately not quickly enough since the toddler also died from the beating...
- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -4/+64They had the next best thing, a cell phone! Call 911 and wait 20 minutes while watching a toddler get beat to death. When seconds matter, the police are only minutes away.
- thomas, on 06/16/2008, -2/+59When an innocent persons life is on the line shooting the criminal(s) is acceptable.
- rainchild, on 06/16/2008, -20/+75unbelievable, this story is crazy, he can't possibly be the dad...or is he
- DivineMonkey, on 06/16/2008, -9/+59What a ***** sicko. I'd love to have been the cop who shot him.
- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -4/+53
I hoping the first couple shots weren't effective and the officer had to stop and reload several times. - buddyfarr, on 06/16/2008, -1/+47exactly andergriff. I don't want my tax money paying for this bastard to get 3 hots and a cot. just take him down.
- baylat, on 06/16/2008, -0/+45I think that's what they call "Bystander Effect". When alot of people are around, you expect someone to do something about it, and what do you know, everyone's thinking the same thing.
- directive0, on 06/16/2008, -0/+44I never understand when people seem to think man's inhumanity to man is something new or some kind of modern phenomenon. Humans have always sucked, but with the media constantly bearing witness to these acts maybe we can all better understand just how bad some people out there are and move towards a solution.
- blechler, on 06/16/2008, -0/+44Now we just have the media to draw our attention to these sorts of things.
- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -1/+45I guess you haven't evolved enough to recognize that you're the idiot.
- chanop, on 06/16/2008, -1/+45FTA: The officer was from a helicopter, they landed in a field, there was an electric fence between The officer and the guy who murdered the infant. I think he the officer did the right thing to try and stop this man.
- pianomahnn, on 06/16/2008, -1/+44I don't think you understand the subtle humor in my post. Perhaps it is you who are the idiot...
- slvrbullet87, on 06/16/2008, -2/+449mm bullet 4 cents, a year in prison $23,000
- laroi, on 06/16/2008, -5/+47sounds like justice to me!
- Totz83, on 06/16/2008, -1/+43Reading that sent a chill down my spine :(
- doctorfungi, on 06/16/2008, -0/+41I'm pretty sure the Hasselhoff album part violates some kind of treaty.
- IphtashuFitz, on 06/16/2008, -0/+40Well the article says that the first on the scene were an "elderly couple". No mention of the others, nor how big the guy beating the toddler was. If it was somebody big like a professional football player vs. a bunch of elderly folks then it'd be no comparison. Also, if they guy doing the beating was high on certain drugs like ecstasy, LSD, etc. it could give him more strength & focus as well not feeling any pain if the others were hitting him.
- SniperZero, on 06/16/2008, -2/+41I think it would have been more justice if he was stomped on and kicked to death instead of just being shot.. a bullet is just the easy way out.
- yournamehere, on 06/16/2008, -9/+48yeah, but then our taxes would have to pay for him to live and on top of that he would have the opportunity to repent.
no, it was better to give him a bullet. - 1337chic, on 06/16/2008, -2/+40I'd be interested in what the cops say, but I'm assuming they shot the man in an attempt to save the child. They couldn't get the man off of the baby, so they shot him.
- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -0/+37I like my bike too much to use this guy's arse to park it.
- sandiegodude, on 06/16/2008, -2/+38I'm in total agreement here with you. As a father myself of a 12 year old, I would do anything for her safety. To imagine somebody doing something this heinous is horrifying. The sick ***** should have been shot in the belly and died a slow, painful death if you ask me.
- ghuytro, on 06/16/2008, -3/+38Judging by the number of diggs on Thrilltone's post you might want to rethink that "I'm so ***** smart and a big ***** know-it-all" stance.
- DivisibleByZero, on 06/16/2008, -4/+39If the perp had a gun, wouldn't he have just shot the toddler to save time?
- Claude1971, on 06/16/2008, -0/+35classy
