Police: Woman Grabbed From Behind, Shot Outside Bar

theindychannel.com — The shooting happened just before 3 a.m. in the parking lot of the Main Event restaurant on Shore Terrace near 38th Street and Eagle Creek Parkway. Amanda Smith, 41, of Indianapolis, told police she was leaving the bar when a man came up behind her in the parking lot and tried to take her purse.
