- rheaume, on 05/21/2009, -6/+70She suffocated a 3 year old, regretted it, gave him CPR, then decided to go through it after all and ***** KILLED HIM AGAIN
I hope she dies in the worst, most painful way possible, what kind horrible person kills their child TWICE
2 counts of murder. - scentaroom, on 05/21/2009, -1/+35She looks very disturbed, very sad story
- Landthatilove, on 05/21/2009, -2/+35"She did not show the normal relationship that you would see with a mother, son,"
No *****. I wonder what clued them in? - AmyVernon, on 05/21/2009, -4/+37I hardly even know what to say. This might be the most horrible story I've ever read.
- Probatus, on 05/21/2009, -1/+23I don't believe someone like this can be rehabilitated. Her crimes against this child are unforgivable.
- fhg1893, on 05/21/2009, -1/+22I don't think I've ever read something so monumentally disturbing. :-( How can you kill your child TWICE?
I have to go home and give my daughter a big hug now. - freakpuppet, on 05/21/2009, -4/+18They found this boy less than a mile from my home. Everyone is ready to go after her with pitchforks and torches.
/Rightfully so. - GoKings, on 05/21/2009, -0/+14How was the fact that she suffocated her son, resuscitated him, and then suffocated him again not included in the headline? It's clearly the most shocking part of the story. How disgusting.
- Hetman, on 05/21/2009, -6/+19It would be inhumane to kill her and it would cost more. Epic Fail in reasoning.
- ObeseSnake, on 05/21/2009, -2/+14She needs to be cut down. Her brain is wired wrong.
- calcm, on 05/21/2009, -1/+12There is no Death Penalty in the State of New Mexico any more.
- smindsrt, on 05/21/2009, -13/+24Death Penalty!
- staffa, on 05/21/2009, -4/+15What kind of horrible person would want someone to die in the worst, most painful way possible?
People wanting the most horrible things to happen to people for the horrible things they have done has always struck me as a sad commentary on human nature.
Ah well, I am not defending the horrible thing this woman has done, nor even defending her, but go ahead and bury away. - Enkairi, on 05/21/2009, -0/+11What a disturbed woman.
- jordantneff, on 05/21/2009, -2/+12Bitch crazy
- skyfyre, on 05/21/2009, -0/+9Suffocating her (twice) would be free.
- kalvinb, on 05/21/2009, -1/+10If you think your wife is incapable of taking care of your kid then you both need to go see a counselor and you need to step it up and start taking care of the kid as well.
- Chompy, on 05/21/2009, -0/+8Well the article says she already tried to kill herself since being arrested. How much would it cost to accidentally a steak knife in her cell?
- lhbaker, on 05/21/2009, -0/+8Because that's a really long headline.
- inactive, on 05/21/2009, -0/+7crazy people do not learn from the example of others .. they are *crazy*. They are not deterred by harsh punishments meted out to other crazies. The history of human civilization pretty much backs this up.
- inactive, on 05/21/2009, -0/+6Thats what I thought too. I mean, this is freaking Albuquerque, I'm sure she could have found some uninhabited mesa like 5 miles out of town. Thats where I bury all my bodies, anyhow.
- Hetman, on 05/21/2009, -1/+7Stop acting like a barbarian you give america a bad name.
- pookydirt, on 05/21/2009, -1/+7This is really awful... I had read the original story when they didn't know who it was yet... I not expecting THIS to be the backstory. Ugh.
- inactive, on 05/21/2009, -0/+6The whole cell?
- jitterbits, on 05/21/2009, -1/+7I would imagine regret went through her mind, that she was torn between what she thought were the only options, and then she went back through with it. As detestable as her actions were, I don't think they were intended to increase the suffering of the child. Weird as it sounds, it's very possible for someone to lose all sense of proportion and reality and see murder as the choice of mercy.
I feel very bad for the little boy and very bad for what she will have to live with for the rest of my life. It's no wonder she's been suicidal. It's tragic. - inactive, on 05/21/2009, -0/+6I'm assuming there's an implicit /s with your comment, but I have to wonder considering this is Digg.
- Ladymongoose, on 05/21/2009, -0/+6What does that even mean?
- calibud, on 05/21/2009, -0/+6***** up story. But playground sand?? That's got to be one of the worst places to bury a body.
- cmost, on 05/21/2009, -3/+8It's interesting to see so many people comment on how "horrible" this woman is as well as her crime; while at the same time wishing the most horrific end to her they can imagine. This is what's wrong with humanity! I'm not defending this woman or what she did, but obviously she became who she is because nobody EVER showed her one ounce of compassion.
- TheSeeker11, on 05/21/2009, -5/+10***** the death penalty, let her spend the rest of her sorry-arse life in jail.
- sirjoebob, on 05/22/2009, -0/+5Behind the shed.
Shotgun.
Old Yeller style
p.s. sorry for the old yeller spoiler. lol - satanherself, on 05/21/2009, -1/+6So very sad, no one wins, a normal person doesn't kill their child. Twice.
- dshPls, on 05/21/2009, -0/+5You haven't been online long enough, here, enjoy yourself.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hi-Fi_Murders - Hetman, on 05/21/2009, -0/+4Are you volunteering?
- JFitzpatrick, on 05/22/2009, -0/+4You're right. We really can't afford to go around locking people up willy nilly. Shooting them and dumping the bodies might be a better solution.
I'll leave it up to you whether or not you think my post has a /s tag. - inactive, on 05/22/2009, -0/+4 Not at reproduction she shouldn't. She should be sterilized and never allowed around children again.
- Gr00ver, on 05/21/2009, -2/+6That is terrible. That poor little boy.. may he rest in peace.
The mother should be put down like a rabid dog. ***** her. - staffa, on 05/22/2009, -0/+4I find it ironic that you want me to reread the post again because you think I misunderstood when in fact you misunderstood my point.
Why don't you take your own advice and reread my post. - Treason, on 05/21/2009, -1/+4BITCH LOOKS CRAZY
- linagee, on 05/22/2009, -0/+3I saw this safety video once of how to avoid child predators. Tell your children to find other adults with children because they are likely sane people. After reading this article, is anyone sane and safe? Should you just tell your children to shout and run at the sight of any adult?
- sheeats, on 05/21/2009, -0/+3I can't even imagine what went through her mind to make her resuscitate him and smother him again, much less smother him the first time. Who thinks like this? And why can't people like this be sterile instead of perfectly normal, functioning members of society?
- hawk196, on 05/21/2009, -3/+6has she been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder?
- mydiggID1, on 05/21/2009, -0/+3Cycle of life.
- 64bitllama, on 05/21/2009, -0/+3Punishment is not the only way to change a person's behavior...
- chriscim, on 05/22/2009, -2/+5Yeah...we're human beings. The day that this becomes a common occurrence and doesn't faze anyone will be a sad day for humanity.
Having kids also changes your perspective on things a bit. - Ladymongoose, on 05/21/2009, -1/+4That's the worst thing I've read in a while.
- accursed, on 05/21/2009, -1/+41 count of attempted murder, 1 count of murder.
- iskin, on 05/22/2009, -1/+4Since when does a guy sticking his penis in some chick mean he showed her any compassion? How would a compassionate rapist act?
And what debate is there with the nature vs nurture? The fact that it exists or the balance? Maybe it's because I think free will doesn't exist, but nature and nurture are pretty damn good at defining everyone's personality. - inactive, on 05/22/2009, -1/+4In most cases, surviving massive childhood trauma is what makes adults "wired" this way. Nurture isn't 100%... but in the vast majority of these cases you find the person had an utterly horrific childhood. Not that this excuses their behavior as adults, but it does explain it.
- QueenTiye, on 05/22/2009, -1/+4I never understood people who support the death penality, I think if you were going to make someone truly suffer giving them life in prison with no possibility of parole in a 23 hour lockdown cell is the best way to go. Many people aren't afrraid of death, when you only get to do it once. Who gave you conservatives the right to decide when somebody lives or dies? So damn bloodthirsty, I don't think your God would like that very much...
