http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pirate_Bay#May_2006_police_raid - mrfreeziexp, on 10/11/2007, -56/+9Are they collecting people's ip address by any chance?
- wusupdoe, on 10/11/2007, -44/+69@mrfreeziexp
Unfortunately, yes, they are. They're going to be rounding up the IP addresses of anyone who has ever visited the website and will be prosecuting the people who are linked to said addresses to the fullest extent of the law. Enjoy your prison time. - NikoKun, on 10/11/2007, -4/+56Thats weird... The Pirate Bay website seems to be offline now... O_o I thought they learned from the last raid, and spread the servers to several different locations, so that if the police ever took out one location, the site would still stay up?
If they didn't do that... they seriously should... =/ - gldfshnpcklejar, on 10/11/2007, -3/+51The pirate bay and that website are not in the same location.
I wonder if they think that if they keep raiding their computers they will manage to get them for something.
I'm in your sweden stealing your websites. :( - aaneton, on 10/11/2007, -3/+50@wusupdoe
It's widely known that Pirate bay doesn't keep any logs on their servers. - oxdeltaxo, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7@ AzBats
Your probably right, although why the government didn't pick up on that before seems a bit shifty to me. Maybe media pressure got too much? - Stonedonkey, on 10/11/2007, -3/+15It appears to be back up now, intermittently. Sometimes you get a blank page, sometimes you get the front page.
No new updates on their blog.
I personally would not try getting a torrent from TPB until you know what's up. - birkoph, on 10/11/2007, -2/+47Welcome to one year ago.

- blog4charity, on 10/11/2007, -0/+19Parley?!
- reknaps, on 10/11/2007, -0/+19I got raided! (had to happen sometime, right?)
My darlings waerland, cthugha, ruda, argyria, akgw, aurora, fossmo, etc. are now in the possesion of the Swedish police.
Hope they have fun trying to read my 8" disks and playing my collection of legally bought (!!) C64 games.

- jrsaysbiteme86, on 10/11/2007, -4/+7I was wondering why it was down. They're probably just saying they're down but really upgrading to that youtube clone or whatever it was lol.
- jpoke89, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2It's prolly down due to an increased server load, TPB has been on news sites all week, and is prolly getting allot of new hits, and DoS attacks.
- IplayWoW1214, on 10/11/2007, -77/+4Maybe you should all buy your videos and software and music... funny how Swedish police never raided Itunes, maybe because its not ILLEGAL!
- corejava2, on 10/11/2007, -3/+62eh, maybe cause itunes isnt located in Sweden?
- Rooster99, on 10/11/2007, -7/+12Get out....NOW!
- eurofooty, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Maybe they raided KFC too (GM chickens et al). They're not here either...
- raithetarkon, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14It's not illegal in Sweden *****.
- JimXugle, on 10/11/2007, -0/+20The Pirate Bay isn't illegal.
Well... not in Sweden, which is where it operates from. - EvaMonkey, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Also, maybe because the Swedish police have no jurisdiction outside of their own country?
- Aggort, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3PirateBay's main page will load as well some other obscure pages, but nothing that lists the torrents or legal documents. I am surprised there is nothing on the home page yet as with the last raid. Coincidence that it happened a year later?
@PimPSP seriously, check more of the page then just the home.- Aggort, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1OK Strange. Sometimes it works, sometimes it's down. Try this in any tabbed browser. Go to thepiratebay.org and when you finally get to the home page, keep opening one link in a separate tab, eventually you should get it to open. It's odd, but I think this means that they are not being raided and that akagoose might be right.
- TSorenson, on 10/11/2007, -3/+15Of course this would happen the day that I was going to torrent all of the Sims 2.

- sharfa, on 10/11/2007, -28/+1oh! piratebay is under attack once again. i just made an email account freepiratebay@spaml.com (offered free from http://www.spaml.com ) just to show my support. warez should be free
- danakin, on 10/11/2007, -1/+23That'll show 'em for sure!
- asfddasf, on 10/11/2007, -51/+0"They may have one the battle, but they have already lost the war." Comes to mind.
- AnthonyA7, on 10/11/2007, -3/+69Goddamn it, I'm no grammar nazi, but you have majorly ***** up a quote that is difficult to ***** up. 'Won', not 'one'. Need to repeat 2nd grade?
- asfddasf, on 10/11/2007, -54/+0ahh.. the retort of someone who has no point. Attack the statement, not the typo. It makes you look petty and quite sad.
And you may note that the actual quote is "They won the battle but lost the war". Tense makes a difference to a modified quote. - Aliarse, on 10/11/2007, -1/+34@asfddasf (#7059946)
W and O are on opposite sides of the keyboard, theres no way in hell that was a typo, so quit ya BS. - asfddasf, on 10/11/2007, -36/+1your post is still lacking of a point related to the topic or a rebuttal. Apparently the only retort you have is one of grammar.
Perhaps you need to learn to debate? This is what is called a Straw Man arguement. You put up a straw man and knock it down, even though it has no relevance to the arguement. "A straw man argument is an informal fallacy based on misrepresentation of an opponent's position"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_man
Perhaps you need to spend some more time beyond Jr. High where content is more important than form. - Onyxblaze, on 10/11/2007, -4/+14You can't misspell words and claim that you're smart in the same sentence. See look at me, I'm making no claims at all. Therefore I can say ***** you, and, unlike you, will not care because, unlike you, I do not see what people reply to my comments. I post what I think, and find a new topic. Otherwise I'd have no life, and I'd spend 20 minutes coming up with a "smart" sounding reply, just like you did. So lemme guess... You wrote a comment to the equivalent level of a fifth grader's writing, and used MS Word Synonyms to make it sound like you are smart? Hint hint... You only do that when you have an essay and you totally BS-ed it, and want to make the teacher think it sounds good.
- armbar, on 10/11/2007, -4/+19Let's not be ignorant; obviously screwed up spellings always detract from the message. Same thing happens to George Bush every time he talks.
- Onyxblaze, on 10/11/2007, -3/+4oh it seems to have cut off my comment... oh well. I was just going to say rebuttal my ass. You can't debate fact. A fact would be the 'o' key is commonly on the opposite side of the keyboard than the 'w' key. You can't debate that. Therefore it was not a typo which may have looked like 'qne' etc... You made a booboo and you can't admit it. Why? because in cyber space you aren't a geek, a nerd, or a looser. You are cool. No one else is right, because you can say whatever you want without getting hurt. Truth is... lets look at your cyber space friends: http://digg.com/users/asfddasf/friends/news/dugg oh thats interesting. So now you are completely alone. Hmmmm.. I'm just noticing that by me posting this link, Digg could have the Digg effect happen on itself. I wonder if I could take Digg down this way. Mwahahahaha
EDIT: Well.... apparently the second half of my comment magically reappeared...interesting. Oh well who cares. - asfddasf, on 10/11/2007, -25/+3ahhh.. A flamer! Oh how cute!
Well, I obviously have a much wider vocabulary than you do.. and as you are responding to MY comments by swearing and attacking me personally shows not only that your statements lack relevance, but also that you lie.
Intresting...
p.s. I don't "CLAIM" to be smarter than you, I already know I am and you just proved it. Thank you! - MrAbe, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1@ onyxblaze
you don't put commas before or after the word ` and ' - Aliarse, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11@asfddasf (#7060333)
The only one looking like an ass here, is you.
We all know you ***** it up, the only one who doesn't think you ***** up is, you guessed it, YOU. Stop bringing meaningless stuff up and just say "I ***** it up." and then get on with your life.
Thats all we want, for you to say these three, simple, little, words. "I - ***** - Up." Surely thats not too hard for such a smart person like yourself? - asfddasf, on 10/11/2007, -22/+1Good boy! Nice to see you recognize your inferiority.
I suggest you read my posts. Typo, spelling mistake.. really who cares. My argument is about the fact that content maters more then style. You are picking on things like puntuation because you lack a point and certainly have nothing to say of relevance to the conversation. You are trying to make yourself look bigger by bringing someone else down for reasons that could be considered petty at best. You keep up the conversation because you are insulted, I am keeping it up because I am bored and your ignorance is stroking my ego.
Again, thank you! - Aliarse, on 10/11/2007, -4/+8@asfddasf (#7060478)
The only thing i have to add to your deluded little conversation is : "Welcome to my block list, enjoy your stay." - EndersGame, on 10/11/2007, -4/+5How the hell did this turn into such hostility over a stupid typo? You all are pathetic, I have seen a class of third graders that act more mature. And for the record, I would consider accidentally typing 'one' instead of 'won' a typo. I do it all the time, just like I sometimes type 'are' instead of 'our'. I guess it depends on your definition of a typo but I usually make the mistake when I am tired and typing really fast. Big ***** deal.
- konradk, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5@asdf
Dude, you did ***** up, but who cares, right? Greater man have made greater mistakes. Say, take ME for example. When Lady Di died, to express my condolences, I wrote an English friend of mine "May she rest in piece." Now that there was a major *****, so you still have much to learn, young padawan.
Also, don't be an arrogant asshole, it ruins your prestige.
- demonstar55, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2It works... sometimes for me... guess they're having some sort of server side error, or something?
- vaconex, on 10/11/2007, -7/+0Pirate bays hit by pirates. They collected the booty. Good job.
- sethdotcom, on 10/11/2007, -8/+3what about btjunkie.org?
- asfddasf, on 10/11/2007, -3/+27oh, and what they are doing isn't illegal in Sweden. The procecutor knows there is no case and it is likely a counter charge of malicious procecution will be leveled.
It is about time that the State keeps there facist fingers OUT of other people's countries. Their laws ONLY apply with in the US and that is it. Those of us outside the US live by our own laws and the yanks can eat ***** for all I care. I will download music as MUCH as posible as it is totally legal in Canada.- nexus, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8In the case of last year we bullied their country into preforming an illegal raid on their servers. I think any police involved in the raid should have their badge numbers taken down and prosecuted to the fullest extent of Swedish law, since they are carrying out an raid with no legal justification to back it.
- diggn_it, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3I thought up until now that the swedish police would not dare another raid because it worked out so badly for them last time (innefective and illegal). But now I have to think that they are either being really pressured by the US to do something, or actually have a case. I mean, why would they raid the same place where they failed to do anything last time if one of those options were not true. Also, don't blame the officers who did the raid, they were just following orders from the higher ups. Its almost always the higher ups.
- ever, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1"is about time that the State keeps there facist fingers OUT of other people's countries. Their laws ONLY apply with in the US and that is it. Where does it say the State is to blame? There are more countries than just the USA that have strict copyright laws. Sweden happens to be one of those odd European countries where Piratebay has the _rare_ possibility to keep doing their thing. Here in Finland for instance they would've been taken down a long time ago. And the Swedish government isn't exactly thrilled about Piratebay being in Sweden :).
I like what Piratebay is doing for the scene; gaining so much publicity and having a kickass attitude.. But as a torrent tracker it sucks more or less. So much stuff and yet the interface and categorizing is terrible, as are a huge part of the torrents as well. But still; thumbs up for PB :)

- xmlionheart, on 10/11/2007, -10/+2Newsflash from Totalfark:
Apparently their lawyer contacted the local news station with the statement of the two guys who were arrested. The HQ is filled with police. Most of the servers have been dismantled and taken away and others are still running with the police tracking active IPs. DO NOT TORRENT!- ninephoenixes, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3what the poop?
- Ahnteis, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5I dunno how to tell you this, but the torrent protocol broadcasts your IP all the time. You can't be arrested for visiting the piratebay website, so going there adds no risk beyond what you already incur when downloading a torrent.
Torrents are HORRIBLE for privacy -- that's not what they were designed for. They are good for distributing bandwidth.
- sbolanos, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1It's up and down like a yoyo for me.
- wbbb617, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Maybe Pirate Bay should learn to fight one battle at a time. Pick one file-sharing, freedom of speech, etc. This would lessen the reasons for people to go after them.
- GeleGrodan, on 10/11/2007, -0/+17www.anakata.hack.se has been down since the "real" raid was, 31 may 2006.

- ninephoenixes, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3I bet the RIAA pressured the ***** out of the Swedish police because of that pedophilia/child porn stuff.
I realize that the site in the story the other day didn't host child porn, but TPB does, albeit unwillingly. It's pretty obvious that the RIAA and other TPB haters would jump all over that. - vetal17, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2no ping(((
- DeFex, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1if there is one semi useful place on the interweb that is good at getting press. it would be called "pirate bay"
- asiantecknoboi, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0I'm going to assume you are talking about "DO NOT TORRENT" from Pirate Bay, not Torrenting itself. In any case, Pirate bay keeps no logs of who downloads or not, so either way us Consumers will be fine at least, if not also for the Pirates.
- DigitalJester, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6If The Pirate Bay was actually raided, I think you'd get a message like this:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/54/Thepiratebay-down.png
And why would the swedish police raid them if they have no case, and know it only makes them stronger?- asfddasf, on 10/11/2007, -3/+10Because the US is putting major presure, economicly and politically, for the Sweds to ignore their own laws in favor of the US intrepretation. Probibly one of the reasons they are willing to "humor" the US is because the Swedish government knows it has no case and therefore there is no real threat to the PirateBay.
It is all good in the end. If they US keeps it up, the political backlash in Sweden will be such that the government will loose power and it will be given to folks even less willing to work with the Yanks. Just as it has all over the world. Pallistine, Iraq.. as it is starting in India and Pakistan.. and in the UK where it caused one of the most popular PMs in history to resign. The US is messing with the power of the masses in it's arrogance and comes out on the loosing end every time. - diggn_it, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2"It is all good in the end. While I don't doubt that US meddling has come back to bite them in the (very) recent past, lets remeber that the pirate party got less than 1% of the vote last election. I hardly think one raiding of a torrent site will cause a nationwide backlash against the swedish government, especially when it seems that few people care enough about the cause in the first place to cast their vote in favor of the pirates. Also, what happened in India? I feel like I must have missed something on that one because I remember all the other incidents. - asfddasf, on 10/11/2007, -5/+3There is quite a backlash in the populas in India. Most of the world in reality. Look at the polls of popular support for US actions. They went from an all time high after 9/11 to an all time low since Iraq. In Palistine the failure of the US to negotiate peace (again and again and again) caused the rise of Hamas to power. In Iraq they elected a Shia dominated parliment and are on the verge of becomeing a democratic theocracy. In Pakistan they are acctually negotiating with the Taliban and signing peace treaties. The US is so unpopular in the population that if Musaraf (who is a military dictator BTW.. yet another tyrant the US supports along with Eqypt, Saudi Arabia and many others) held and election he would certainly be voted out. In the UK, Blair went from being the most popular PM in history to the least, all because of his closeness with Bush.
I am not even going to start on Iran, which is a completely US made situation. In Canada US bashing has become almost a sport. We went from humorus joking to outright dislike, and in some cases HATE of the US!! This in the US's closest ally!! You just have to look at current events to realize that the actions of the US government come back to haunt them over and over again. We could go back in history to even WWI where the US sold arms to Germany before joining the war. Or WWII where Prescott Bush (GW Granddad) was Hitler's private banker! Histroy, past and present is littered with examples.
As has been said before "The United States has always created its own enemies" - asfddasf, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2ugh.. just realized I didn't address your point =P.
That %1 is pretty impressive considering that the party came out of nowhere. As I said, they became the largest party without seats overnight. I know this is hard to understand it you live in the US and aren't used to a palimentary democracy. God knows I sometimes find the process in the States to be obsure and I have grown up watching their news. Sweden has many many many little parties. All of them get less then 1% of the vote and almost all have been around for many many years building their base. For a "issue" party to get such a high ammount of votes is just staggering! Esspecially so quickly. You have to recall, not all supporters will vote for them because it is a single issue party. Lots of people will feel it is throwing away their vote and will vote for a main stream party instead. They will however insure that the party they DO vote for is at least in line to some extent with their views on that particular issue. For instance, in Canada we have the Pot Party. Not many people vote for them because it is a single issue party with no chance of winning. However, the overwhelming majority of people here support decriminalizaion and the vast majority of those people support complete legalization. Still the Pot party can't reach 10% of the vote to gain offical party status. Same goes for the Pirate Party.

- lovelifenow, on 10/11/2007, -11/+2they where hosting kiddy porn that is why they where raided. I was down with the pbay untill I heard about there kiddy porn
- asfddasf, on 10/11/2007, -3/+8perhaps you should read that story and not just the headline. The site was talking about pedophillia and from what I understand was suportive of it. In the US the organization is called MBLA or The Man Boy Love Association. I hate and dispise what they say, but I will die to defend their right to say it! This isn't hate speech, it is a distasteful opinion that I don't share. Discusting me isn't a crime and therefore this would be protected speech.

nooo not for porn either. - TwwIX, on 10/11/2007, -7/+5I will never understand the fascination that you guys have with Pirate Bay.
It's nothing more then a ***** below average torrent site like any other public torrent site out there.- theorangeaxem, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5Because it has Pirate in the url. It's really that simple.
- PURDooM, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8Its the google of torrents. Its clean, doesn't have too many adds, doesn't feel like bloat, never dies (even after server raids), has insults to RIAA/MPAA/Copywright holders, and runs its own tracker. What isn't there to love?
- asfddasf, on 10/11/2007, -4/+4Has more to do with the political ramifications. Most torrent sites don't have their own political party and in Sweden it is the largest party with out seats (Think The Green Party in Canada, except they are pirates!).
That makes it very news worthy and is also the reason the US is so concerned dispite the fact there are much better trackers out there.
- ecorona, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4The **AA wants more of your money so they can pamper their rich ass kids some more. I say let Junior cry all he wants for his second mansion because things are changing. A new model needs to be produced to reimburse the true artists. Maybe if the ***** **AAs didn't shave like 80% off the top of the artist's earnings everything would work out.
- GotMex, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1This sounds very similar to ATF raids in the USA. They come in based off pressure from various sources, raid the whole place, and take everything apart and away. Then thy make it a hassle to get everything back once you prove you did nothing wrong according to your countries laws and it just serves to try and get you to back down from fear of them. I doubt the PirateBay people get scared easily.
- pheonix991, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Demonoid ftw yo!!!
anyone wanna trade invites for oink? - Barbarino, on 10/11/2007, -10/+3So, by you stealing from US companies because your government doesn't have laws simply because you produce oh I dunno, 0% of the content, you think this is ok? So lets say, I steal your car, but in my country stealing cars is ok, you wouldn't be mad? You wouldn't try and get your car back? You wouldn't try and use your own countries laws to get your car back?
Lets get to the real issue here, digg and it's ilk, will steal from others because it's just code or data but if someone stole their own property they'd be up in arms over it.
Digg me down- asfddasf, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2no, I "steal", as you call it, from US companies because I already DO pay for the content. I pay for it in tarriffs every time I buy a CD. Those Tarriffs are considerably more then the cost of the CDs themselves. As I buy THOUSANDS of CDs for both work and home and have never burned a single track on them (we use them for data backups.. ya ya, I know DVDs are better but the company won't spring for DVD burners). So I have paid and paid and paid. About time I got something BACK for it.
BTW, just to be an ass I dug you up =P - digghugger, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Yes, if I parked my car in a land without car stealing laws in it I'll be okay because I'll just steal a better one. :)
Now if you stole me car IN the US then I'll cry. But thepiratebay is not stealing in the US they are stealing outside of it.... - solohan, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2This is just capitalism, if you think it's worth it to pay for it, you do, if not ,you don't. Pretty simple, really.
It's going to be a system redesign, formed by market forces. Should be right up your right wing ass. I am hopeful that it pushes the money to people who make music and art from the heart, not the asswipes you push the latest formula down our throat. The money produced by the creative arts is more then enough to provide for the creators, just not enough to continue to push the stock prices higher for the major corps... oh great, maybe they won't have enough money to keep producing pollution, wage slavery, exploitation of poor nations, wars and the like. The pirate bay will save the ***** ozone layer. - sunshine666, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2a car to me has much more value than a hit singled by jessica simpson. If someone stole my car, and i found them, i'd steal a leg or an eye. Jessica Simpson, however, already has enough money to purchase as many cars as she wants..
Would you feel back stealing gas from gas companies? Would you feel bad stealing Oil from the cartels? Would you feel bad stealing money from the US government? How bout the US military funds?
The entertainment business isn't a charitable organization, i understand that, however their income spans far too wide for anyplace like thepiratebay, or oink, or torrentleech, (and so on) to make a dent in celebrity/riaa/mpaa/Hollywood's financial level.
I wouldn't ask if it's "ok". I'd ask how you personally feel about Fred Durst having millions of dollars.
***** Fred, and ***** the ***** celebrities that harvest our earnings so they can "create art" (some movies truly are art, and those seem to compel people to purchase and support them, I'm mainly talking about music, and ***** movies - Spiderman 3, i'm looking at your whiny emo face) - sunshine666, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0uhmmm, i got cut off...
I wouldn't ask if it's "ok" to steal. I'd ask how you feel about douchebags like Fred Durst to have millions of dollars based on world-wide sales. They aren't artists, they're con-men/women (con artists?)
The REAL musicians, and the REAL film-makers get nixxed on the income they deserve because of these *****-bites.
P.S. i've been drinking, so ... sorry for the *****.... - meshman, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1"You wouldn't try and get your car back?"
This makes perfect sense because whenever someone downloads a Metallica CD, one disappears off the shelf somewhere.

- JimXugle, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Hmm... what happened to those redundancies that they setup after the last raid?
- egbertd, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Damn....only if they could have aquired Sealand...
*sigh*- asfddasf, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2then the US would have just unilaterally invaded them with gunships.
- thayle, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Theres something that bugs me about the governments/RIAA's reaction to file sharing of movies, music, etc... I've been thinking about this for a while and I figured this would be a good place to post it. Alright, we have all seen those commercials "You wouldn't steal a car, you wouldn't steal a DVD, don't download movies" or whatever. But when you download you aren't "stealing"... No one is missing anything, it's just copied over... So... How is that stealing exactly? I mean doesn't someone have to be missing something for that thing to be stolen?
- jonpotz, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2That is where the whole "sharing" thing comes in.
For instance, I let my friend borrow Creep Show 2 DVD.
Is it the same as if I let him rip it off my FTP and delete it from my hard drive until he gives it back via upload?
It should be....but the record and movie companies want to rape us for as much as they can feeding off the lack of technical knowledge from petty judges looking to help the corporations.
SOOOORRRRY that new technology allows everyone to share in a broader aspect. SORRRRRYYYY!
Those were sarcastic apologies. - Endemoniada, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2@jonpotz

This isn't the problem. Content owners retain the right to choose how, when and why they distribute things. They allow you to lend your own copy to a friend, because it's fair use. They don't allow you to rip the disc and put it on an FTP because it's beyond the scope of fair use. Whether it should be included or not is a whole other discussion.
The bottom line is that whoever owns the content, owns the right to decide how it will be distributed. - Cherubim, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Read up on Intellectual Property Law. The unauthorised distribution of copyrighted works is illegal in most countries. This includes digital media as well.
Are you really that dumb not to understand this ?

- ripstuntz, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Noticed the site was down around 3:30 central time, was wondering if something was up.
Guarantee it was that child pr0n site. - jonpotz, on 10/11/2007, -4/+3ALL YOUR Pirate Bay Owner's Personal Computer(s) ARE BELONG TO Swedish Police.

check the date yourself! - harvinator24, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1I knew something was up when i loaded the page and a 404 came up. I got ten bucks on the site being back up within a week.
- leo333, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Long live thePiratebay! Anyway, as far as I know these are anakatas PCs and not ThePirateBay's. TPB is hosted somewhere else in Stockholm, but definetly not in anakatas house. And who cares about the logs, if ppl want to get you downloading stuff they just download a torrent and write down the Ip's rather than trying top filter the illegal torrents from the non-existant log files

- KaiUno, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0This would be good time to drop the entire messy business and just grab a Usenet account and decent indexer site. Combine it with a good reader, a greasemonkey script for your browser and you've got yourself some serious on-click downloading action.
