Philly Cops Bust Activists for Questioning Surveillence

philly.com — A group of four people were arrested in Philly, and detained for 12 hours while their house was being illegally searched for any evidence of wrongdoing. Actual quote from the Police Captain: "They're a hate group. We're trying to drum up charges against them, but unfortunately we'll probably have to let them go." Guilty until proven innocent?

    The police captain has the audacity to acknowledge that they don't actually have any evidence that the four did anything wrong, and was actively trying to "drum up charges" against them? What the hell is this, Cold War Russia?

    By acting like they have, the police in Philly have sure proven that the four "suspects" were completely in the right to question police tactics.
