Petraeus prohibits phrase ‘We’re winning’ with Iraq

  • inactive, on 07/09/2008, -2/+4Petraeus is a military guy....not a journalist or a politician. It's not his job to make speeches. He's there to eradicate al Qaeda, and he's doing it.

    When our military is allowed to do what they do best, they kick ass. When politicians and whiney foreign nations interfere, they get bogged down and picked off by the enemy.

    Bush is a horrible CIC (up until the surge), just like his father. Sr should've finished the job in '91 (or whenever the hell we kicked Saddam's ass out of Kuwait and back to Baghdad).
