- reflex768, on 07/19/2008, -1/+6With stories like this...I think it's getting awfully hard to argue that Iraq isn't going to be alright in 21 months and that Afghanistan doesn't need us to reallocate our troops there. Objectively, I think the Republicans were correct on the surge, and the Democrats were correct on Afghanistan. I frankly wouldn't mind a politics that recognized those positions have been made consonant by events.
