- eyepatch100, on 10/14/2008, -0/+16At least the government had the stones to fire those pricks, corruption in our government isn't so clear cut...
- alappat1, on 10/14/2008, -0/+2A true system of accountability is almost impossible. The basic question is who watches the watchers? That being said, the level of corruption endemic in politics EVERYWHERE is disgusting and needs to be fixed with solid oversight rules and a general change in culture; where accountability is paramount.

I can't think if a business that wouldn't get the go ahead with a potential customer base like this. http://solveclimate.com/blog/20080728/poll-truth-c ... BTW, this poll is used to illustrate how accurate, straight forward questions result in accurate straight forward answers. The article compares it's questions/results to one from Pew: http://pewresearch.org/pubs/884/gas-prices
Those in the know at motley fool seem to think there is and will continue to be demand, despite the falling price of oil. http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2008/10/13/t ... - TruthExposed, on 10/15/2008, -0/+1The most important poll is the one you participate in when you buy energy.

- AFelsinger, on 10/14/2008, -0/+11Politicians facing consequences for their actions? what a strange concept... maybe we could look into a system like that for the US
- TruthExposed, on 10/14/2008, -0/+9We need this in the USA, less job security, more accountability.
- tbhurst, on 10/15/2008, -0/+7Now that's what makes S. American politics exciting.
- TsuruchiBrian, on 10/15/2008, -0/+5In the US the president appoints his own cabinet. I don't know if it is the same in Peru, but why is it such a big step for a president to fire his own cabinet? What prevents him from hiring a different bunch of his friends that are equally corrupt?
Assuming they have fair elections, why don't these people vote this president out? Is the other party even worse or soemthing? Oh my God I feel like I am describing our own government right now.
