I saw nothing that would require restraint on behalf of the reporter in this video. As a matter of fact, all I saw was a guy with a microphone with nothing better to do with his day than track this guy down and try to get him to lose his temper. If he were doing that to anyone other than a convicted child molester, I'm sure most people would see the reporter as a douchebag with self-esteem issues. Then again, it's a child molester, so anything anyone does to ***** with him is pretty much fair game. The guy served his ***** sentence. If you have a problem with that, try to get the laws changed to reflect what you believe these people deserve. Going into a two minutes' hate because some douche with a cameraman spent five minutes annoying a pedophile on youtube is probably more retarded than anything your object of hatred said during his 'interview.'

          Also the guy might have served HIS sentence but had he done the same crime and had more up to date laws applied to him, he wouldn't have completely served his sentence yet. He would still be monitored and tracked for his crimes. Since he isn't then it's the reporter's job to inform the public of his location so they can protect their kids.
          Really you need to get your head examined if you think there was no reason for the reporter to restraint himself.... the man was advocating raping 5 year old children and was getting right in the man's face for simply asking reasonable questions... in public.

At first you're forced into it and don't like it (especially because it hurts when he penetrates your anus for the first time), but afterwards it becomes kind of "normal" and you get used to it. However, I would advise you to get some therapy and counselling.. you need to talk to a professional who can help you put things into the correct perspective on what exactly happened. It was abuse, period. I appreciate that you are coping with it in your own ways and you have your ideas on why the perpetrator did those things such as looking for love, attention and so on, but you are letting him get away too easily. I think all human beings like to be loved and receive affection, but this is a serious violation which is borne out of perverted desires and lust. Another way to look at it is this; if you found a full grown man groping your young son and attempting to do to him things unspeakable.. how would you react? if that would be unacceptable to you then likewise what happened to you personally was transgression beyond bounds.

            Once again, even if you feel everything is fine and normal, just for closures' sake, seek out some form of therapy.. perhaps start your search online for the appropriate forums and organizations and see how that goes.

However, every case is unique, and my case had no real negative consequences for me, unlike some of the more disturbing stories I've read (complete with abuse, torture and humiliation of those involved). Those cases I consider really awful and should be handled carefully by a professional in this field.

            Don't get me wrong, I know you mean no harm and are trying to give me useful advice. I appreciate that. But I must say that the man was kind to me and never hit me, he never forced me or did anything painful to me *except* the first time (understandably, since I lost my anal virginity to him). It was painful in the beginning simply because my butthole wasn't used to being stretched so wide open, even after being massaged and fingered. But he never made me scream on purpose, the most I had to let out were sighs and some moaning when he was going too deep. The second time we were together he already asked me which positions I liked so he could go "practice" them with me. So as we went along he spread my butt cheeks and I just tried to keep taking it in my ass, riding his ***** and trying to satisfy him. Also, he never used those ropes again. I guess he was more afraid that I would run away the first time than anything. I don't think he was into freaky BDSM/bondage stuff because in the following encounters he didn't tie me up.             So as sick as he was, I wouldn't necessarily call it abuse_in_my_case. That's of course my opinion on it and you're free to disagree. Maybe I just have a different perspective of it than everyone else, who knows? In the end all that matters is that I came away relatively unharmed (considering what I've gone through for more than a year). I'm positive about my life and I'm quite happy today. I'm more open-minded, I'm not ashamed of what happened since it could've happened to anyone, and I'm convinced that by writing down my experiences in detail like this I can give some relief to others who've gone through much, much worse than I have.

I understand everything that you are saying, but as an outsider reading in to your story, I can't help but feel that you were unduly taken advantage of. I know and appreciate that there is a degree of difference between someone who violently forces themselves on you and those who are not so aggressive about it, but this person tied you up. In my view, while there is a difference in the severity of the crime between those who are aggressive and violent from those who are not.. I still consider all forms of this behavior to be quite evil indeed.

            If you were my kid, that guy would have my boot up his ass before he got anywhere near you. Although you have come to terms with it and accepted it, that doesn't excuse what he did. If he wasn't capable of forcibly having his way with you he would never have tied you up.

            I am glad you came away from it not being traumatized in the typical sense and can go on with your life, but as for whether it was right or wrong, you have to ask yourself if you would be okay with it if someone did that to your own child.

Its probably for the best that the media doesn't pressure the victim to tell their stories, but I've always kind of wanted to understand things from the perspective of the teen who gets caught in this kind of situation. It is indeed a sad thing that people have things like this happen to them, and like Tim said, the thing that make pedophiles so dangerous is their ability to manipulate either through threats or in this case, gifts.

I fell for it, partly because I was only 11 at the time and didn't know much about life and especially sexuality (I'm still kinda shy about that). But talking a lot about it helps me and other people better understand the situation, what lead to it and maybe help prevent it in the future.

            How it all started was pretty simple really. After going to a swimming pool, I went to the shower, changed my clothing and came out. A man who befriended me some time ago told me he could give me a massage and that it would make me feel better. So I went along to his house (remember, I was 11 at the time, I_just_didn't_know these things happened) and he told me to take off everything except my underwear. I complied and got on his bed. At first it was really nice because he had this oil and he gave a good massage on my legs and back. Then he told me to stretch out my arms. Not knowing any better I did, and that's where he grabbed some rope that he had hidden between the sheets and began tying my hands quickly. I asked him what he was doing but by the time I was done asking that he already had my hands tied up. He bound my ankles together too and pulled my underwear down. From then on it was all over.

            He grabbed the oil and inserted his oily finger into my butt. I tried to tell him to stop but he didn't listen. He told me people who loved each other did this and the rope was there just so I couldn't go anywhere. He said he needed time to "work on me". I reluctantly accepted and he told me to relax. After about 5 minutes of "preparing" me (stretching and massaging my anus with his fingers basically), he took off his clothes (his penis was already firm from the excitement) and began thrusting his dick slowly into my ass. Sure it was a shock, it hurt at first and was uncomfortable, but I managed to stay sane. My mind is not scarred and I don't get trauma's, nightmares etc. I somehow "got over it", so to speak. I wish it was that easy for others, 'cause I'm sure if I was threatened or harmed with a knife/ weapon it would've been a much more traumatic experience.

Although I can't help but feel disgusted that people do things like this to children, it is nice to hear that not all cases of sexual abuse are the kind I hear about in the news where the child is put in horrible conditions. You must be a very strong willed person to be able to put something like this behind you without it causing to much mental/emotional damage. If you don't mind me asking, how did it end? Did he eventually get caught or did you just decide to stop going to see him?

I don't know if he was beginning to get nervous or if someone was onto him, but eventually he moved elsewhere. Before that though (the last week we were together) he gave me one last *****, I guess over an hour or more. To be honest, I have to admit that he even licked my butt for me, and I found it strangely arousing. Of course he told me never to tell anyone about it. Back then I was perhaps too naive, and I sincerely thought that a "massage" was supposed to be like that.

            Anyway, after that he got out of the neighorhood I've never heard of him again. I don't have any ill will or hatred towards him, even though he pounded me repeatedly and it was not a right thing to do. My theory is that he was a man looking for love, but never found someone to give him that attention. Instead he chose someone he thought he could get love out of. After a while perhaps he realized it was not what he was looking for and maybe he was even sorry for his actions (but was too afraid to come clean, obviously). I believe he chose me because when I was at the swimming pool, we wore these tight swim suits and you could clearly see the contours of the body.             But I'm definitely over it now. It was a strange period in my life and thankfully it wasn't as traumatic as it sounds. Posting about it feels liberating since I can share this experience with other people and maybe someone might even step forward and share their stories.

            The man is a sicko though, he's obviously insane and will no doubt rape somebody again if he gets an opportunity in the future. People like that shouldn't be allowed in society, they should get rehabilitated, and if they fail to do that, they should get locked up for life as criminally insane. But harassing them and censoring their creative output? That's just adding more fuel to the fire. Who knows what such a provocation might do to somebody whose been rehabilitated? What if it triggers a relapse in crime again?

            Personally, I think all offenders, regardless of crime, should be publically searchable in a database so that one could find out where they live and what they've done.
