Over 515 Movies Streaming!
videostored.com — This site is awesome, 515 movies free to watch. How is this legal?!
- 327 diggs
- digg it
- genemaggio, on 10/11/2007, -7/+5who needs netflix?
- modelcadet, on 10/11/2007, -7/+5Sorry for the comment abuse... but I found this sweet site (which I have no connection to, btw). http://ovguide.com/
It's an index of several awesomely questionable movie streaming sites, including alluc, joox, etc. I think these sites are technically legal because they don't host any of the movies themselves (technically, it's youtube or daily motion or whatever that is at fault). Pretty smart way to earn some extra income, I guess. - toast1226, on 10/11/2007, -2/+210 free movies to watch now. thank you, digg.
- NerveBand, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1It isn't.
- staffrocket, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Removed from the front page of digg?
- timo1023, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2What? They all work for me. This is cool.
Buried.

- Sarawanan, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12This is basically just like TV Links
- qwertylicious, on 10/11/2007, -10/+4Or AllUC, or ShowStash.....
Buried as vaguely illegal. - donkz, on 10/11/2007, -8/+3another popular site that has --exact-- same movie list
- mesmeriffic, on 10/11/2007, -7/+37I don't give a flying ***** if it's illegal. I also smoke marijuana, pirate movies and rent VHS for the only purpose of not rewinding it.
Digg me down righteous, law-abiding diggers! - Mu99ins, on 10/11/2007, -3/+21@ mesmeriffic who boldly stated:
"I don't give a flying ***** if it's illegal. I also smoke marijuana, pirate movies and rent VHS for the only purpose of not rewinding it."
You really should rewind those rentals. - bs0l, on 10/11/2007, -7/+7You guys shouldn't mess with mesmeriffic.

He's cooler than all of you. - desu43fnoc, on 10/11/2007, -10/+1Mesmerific, laws aren't there just to piss you off; many have specific reasons which help keep order and harmony within society. Now I know you probably want an anarchy type of society (As do I, but I only see this working in a fully enlightened society, not the one we live in today), but until we all become spiritually developed and benevolent beings (spirituality is not religion; they are exclusive from each other), anarchy will never work and we must follow these laws.
But when these laws become too inane and unnecessary, then we have a problem. Rewinding tapes is just courteous, its not a law. By not rewinding them you're just being an ass. - Morphinity, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2He was joking (for the most part). Chill.
- actorboy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1@ bs0l
You may be getting dugg down, but...best. comment. ever. - dbr_onix, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1"This is basically just like TV Links"
It's more like http://www.stage6.com (But with everything bar the full films filtered out)- There are a bunch of sites that basically just give download links to the streaming videos on that site
Such sites (this site, most torrent sites, alloftv.net and such) are "legal" because they basically just store links to the illegal content - What I want to know is how stage6 is legal..
- qwertylicious, on 10/11/2007, -10/+4Or AllUC, or ShowStash.....
- actorboy, on 10/11/2007, -2/+21"How is this legal?!"
(Psst...It's not.) - loganhid, on 10/11/2007, -2/+19How is this legal?!
Its not my friend, it not.
I fear that this website is going be closed down soon thanks to digg - tony134340, on 10/11/2007, -1/+24Yes, this is totally legal...if you reside in Sealand.
- dantidote, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1So fellow digg users, What should I watch?
- leontes, on 10/11/2007, -4/+3withnail and I.

- NewPunk, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1I'm just getting MySQL errors... weak... and I was so pumped on watching Commando...
- quaxon, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1now if only there was something like this that streamed their contents in HD or atleast some sort of watchable quality.
- gleongelpi, on 10/11/2007, -3/+0quaxon,
But there is. Try www.reeltime.com - tizz66, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1It's not HD of course, but it's still much higher res than I've seen streamed anywhere else online. Looks like native DVD resolution to me?
- gleongelpi, on 10/11/2007, -3/+0quaxon,
- SaintMatthew, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5No porn? buried!
- funnylookinhat, on 10/11/2007, -6/+1It's not legal... and thanks to you now it's dugg and won't be up for a few days... and afterwards will be shut down. : )
- GodsDragon, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5oh the SQL is broken in the site lol
Digg is very good at breaking sites :P - Spazkake, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2server rape

PLEASE - jayparadise, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1just noticed it has a documentary section. thats awesome, what is a site that wont give me mysql errors that has a documentary section?
- patkirkrick, on 10/11/2007, -6/+0How can a site with only 88 diggs so far get trashed by just the tip of the traffic iceberg? It's like these webmasters are using Geocities or something.
EDIT: It's up to 113 Diggs and still broken, which begs the question: who are the 25 people digging a broken site? - trough, on 10/11/2007, -3/+0Ah, Digg memories:
All video sites have to have the description: "How is this legal" - saintdesy, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Wow! This is great! A giant page of mySQL errors!
- NikoKun, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1This kind of thing used to be legal... before they outlawed LINKING to copyrighted works. -_-
- ButterBuddha, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4What? No "adult" category?
- ryanschmidt, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Well, this site is already returning errors after 102 diggs. :(

Well.. when your website has more bugs than Paris Hilton's snatch and no one can get to said videos, I imagine all legalities of the site goes out the window. - Snorglorf, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Good idea, getting an illegal site major media attention by digging it. Guess what? It's not going to be up for long (if it still is, haven't even clicked the link).
You could have just enjoyed it quietly. - theradical, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1First of all I hope you are not so stupid as to think it legal.
Secondly, what on earth do you get out of posting it to digg? the only thing that will happen is a slight boost in traffic before being shut down for good. If you're going to be using these sites at least have the courtesy to not shout it from the rooftop. Moron.- dbr_onix, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Yay, calling people stupid when your the one that wrong - The site is as legal as most torrent sites, for the same reason they aren't sued into the ground : They don't host the content, they just link to the content on other servers (www.stage6.com if I'm not mistaken)..
- homerj14, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3NOOOOOOO
why did you DIGG this!!!
I USE this all the time - Tligon, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Ah my bad.. good bye videostored i will miss you.
- TheIguana, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Google Cache seems to work just fine :)

Iggy - docmacdoc, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Thanks for the link +1 Digg form me!
Anyone have one with :"Ladies" :)??? - V3X3D, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1This site is just a rip of similar http://www.joox.net , another site that uses stage6.divx.com as their back end to host videos. I dont know how stage6 can afford to pump 700mb dvd rips at 20mbit (my max on my cable connection) but thumbs up for providing such a great service.
I doubt the adsense account will last long too. - NeoSporin, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3"Hey! The guy on West fifth is telling people where and who to buy weed from! Tell the world"
- xpajbdigg, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0At 144 Digs that's all I'm getting:
Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (11) in /var/www/www.videostored.com/html/classes/Connection.php on line 18
It reminds me of the *****-heads discussing how superior is the model where the thin middle layer is delegating to the DB most caching and how Java guys are wrong trying to cache content in the AS. I don't know about you, but I've seen enough of those lame attempts at building LAMP based web sites that crash all over the place at the slightest upshot of the inbound traffic.
Oh, I'm sorry, maybe it's not the LAMP toy-land that's at fault, it's the *****-heads behind this web site, huh? - tzon, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6a few observations from reading Digg...
Steal Movies: OK
Steal Music: OK
Steal Photos: Death by Hanging.- dbr_onix, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1No, the problem isn't "stealing" other peoples photos, it's taking credit for them - If I (somehow) got possession of all the raw footage of some film, and (somehow) edited it all together, and (somehow) distrubuted it, but only after retitling it, crediting me as the only one who made it and (somehow) sold it to the public and kept all the money - Then piracy is more or less the same as using some DeviantArt users photo for something commercial.
Besides, all big films make huge amounts of money regardless of wether it's pirated or not - For example, I guarente Hostel 2 will make money, even though it was leaked long before it was in the cinemas.
It's not the same as single photographer who pretty much relies on the company giving them money (Just because their photo is on a book or something won't mean millions of people flock to their house to look at their photo.. If the company doesn't pay them, they make no money)

- chill392, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Hey, it's surprisingly easy to download these movies! I know, why on Earth would you want to steal from a site that hosts them for free? For some reason I feel more comfortable with the files on my computer.
I'll write up a tutorial, if it isn't considered comment spam.- dbr_onix, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1http://www.joox.net - It's basically the same site (same content), but it gives Download links to each of the .divx files - You can download them directly from the stage6 site, but it's slightly more complicated
- koztar, on 10/07/2008, -0/+1you can also go to http://www.fnuz.com a great search engine for thosse stuff
Check out the new & improved
