Oregon gay marriage ban upheld, court rules
kgw.com — The Oregon Court of Appeals has upheld the constitutional amendment banning gay marriage approved by voters in 2004. The court rejected arguments by gay and lesbian couples that Measure 36 should be overturned because it amounted to a revision to state law rather than an amendment to the state constitution.
