"One Ho Productions" - Whoopie Goldberg is a Hypocrite
imdb.com — Whoopie Goldberg appeared on CNN to decry Don Imus's comments about the Rutgers womens basketball team, yet her own production company is named "One Ho Productions". In 1993 Whoopie came to the defense of then boyfriend Ted Danson when he appeared at a Friar's roast in blackface reciting a highly racist monologue. Pot ... meet kettle.

- wazinaword, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I happened to catch Whoopie on the Arsenio Show when she first started her Production Company. SHE wasn't referring to herself as a ho as in whore. she was talking about the gardening implement HO as in HOE. I swear. She explained why she named her company back when Arsenio asked why she named her company that. It is HO as in HOE. you know. all good empires begin with one good hoe. Something like that.
SHE DROPPED THE E ---- as kind of her own silent commentary on the use of the word HO in hip hop at the same time dropping the E makes a play on it. She had reasoning behind dropping the E, as well. I don't remember what that was, but when Arsenio asked, if I remember correctly, she responded WHAT IS A HO? WHAT IT IS? this kind of flabbergasted Arsenio. and she responded: far as I can tell a HOE is that implement you use to aid in turning the soil. and it only takes ONE GOOD HOE. --- Can you dig it?
