"Omagh bombers were 'British agents' claims relative"
ciaran-gallagher.blogspot.com — 17/8/08 - A relative of a victim of the Omagh bombings in Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland on August 15th, 1998, which killed 29 people and left more than 200 people injured, has claimed that British agents were responsible for the attack. This is another case of false-flag terrorism to add to the list.

- Catspaw, on 08/18/2008, -1/+11 Every major IRA bombing in England and Northern Ireland has had the fingerprints of the British government and the FRU all over it.
Kevin Fulton who worked for the British Force Research Unit (FRU), trying to infiltrate the IRA, revealed that his handlers told him that his operations were 'sanctioned right at the top... this goes the whole way to the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister knows what you are doing.' Refer: http://www.infowars.net/articles/february2007/0502 ... - Forcough, on 08/18/2008, -0/+7A good book by Paul Bruce, The Nemesis File
http://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewwork.asp?Autho ...- ciaran036, on 08/18/2008, -1/+5Apparently, the author of the book was arrested but RUC officers concluded that the claims he has made are not true. Considering the history of the RUC's behaviour in N.Ireland, I am not one to believe that. The RUC have obviously attempted to cover-up the truth and give the author a bad name too.

What is it with you Americans and conspiracy theories anyway? It's not as if the IRA was a made-up entity - you guys were funding them at one point, or are you lot too young to remember those days?- ciaran036, on 08/19/2008, -1/+2It's not a conspiracy theory if you read the article and knew anything about the conflict in Northern Ireland you would know that the British and American security services participated in the Omagh bombings, without a doubt. Knowledge of that would lead you on to investigate further the attacks of 9/11, 7/7 in London and the Madrid bombings of 2004.
There are very few people who aren't suspicious of who really carried out the Omagh bombings, but most people know that a new investigation will never happen because the facts will continue to be covered up by the Irish and British government.
On the anniversary of the Omagh bombings, politicians, family members of victims and even the former police ombudsman have called for a new investigation into the Omagh bombings. One of the family members of a victim has said he has no doubt that British agents were responsible for the Omagh bombings, and the evidence that has gathered over the years greatly supports that theory - much like the 9/11 truth movement.
Of course the IRA was a made-up entity - it was funded by Americans after a British politician (who had sympathy for the civil rights movement) appealed to Americans after civil rights protesters were massacred by British paratroopers.
Over the years, British double-agents working in the IRA have carried huge numbers of murders and bought weapons and bomb-making materials as well as helped to set up and develop bombs against British security services and civilians in Northern Ireland.
The foremost IRA terrorist was actually a British double-agent, paid £750,000 a year. During his time he murdered more than 40 people, many innocent civilians.- Bovorik, on 08/20/2008, -1/+1Verifiable evidence (that British security services carried out the Omagh bombing)? Where is it? I didn't see any in the article.

For something like this, the only way the facts can be verified is if government officials tell the facts to the press. But obviously that is not going to happen when they have been covering up the facts.
That's why family members of victims and politicians (both from republican political parties and unionist political parties) have been calling for a new independent investigation into the Omagh bombings.
What more evidence do you need?
The group that were accused of carrying out the attacks (although they did participate) said in 2001 that MI5 were "largely responsible" for the Omagh bombings. This was after it had emerged that two MI5 agents and one FBI agent had infiltrated the organisation.
If you read the Wikipedia entry on the Omagh bombings, you'll hear how the Police Ombudsman claimed that the RUC had foreknowledge of the attacks (they were supposedly told weeks earlier) but let them go ahead anyway - she also criticised the fact that police had evacuated the wrong street after warnings were given by the RIRA to police and media 15 minutes before the bomb.
Verifiable evidence also comes in the form of a recorded conversation by MI5 double-agent 'Kevin Fulton', who told MI5 the precise details of the attack, including the car bomb's registration number a number of weeks before the bomb blast. MI5 had full knowledge and did not act to stop the bombing from going ahead. By the way, a newspaper interview with one of these double-agents revealed that even the Prime Minister knew the details of what these MI5 agents were doing in Northern Ireland.
What is absolutely verifiably clear is that the British LET the Omagh bombings happen. What needs to be probed further is how much these double-agents participated in the bombings and if there were other yet unidentified agents. We already know of (these people have either admitted themselves or their identity has been revealed by investigating newspapers) several other double-agents within other Irish terrorist groups and political parties.
And 'Kevin Fulton', the agent involved in the Omagh bombings, had already built a mortar device before the Omagh bombings which was later used to kill a policeman. Whilst we know for sure that he helped in the murder of people, what we don't know is if he actually carried out or provoked any murders.
