Technology, people. The technology has progressed and it is time to progress with it. - BillE3, on 07/17/2008, -0/+3Not only has to technology to protect the environment while drilling improved, the rules and regulations have improved too. But of course they would rather have China and Mexico drilling off our shores, those countries could care less about polluting our waters. They pollute, the enviro types use it for proof postive drilling is bad.
