- pitlord, on 05/23/2008, -1/+11So, Senator Obama said that Roosevelt and Truman both negotiated with our enemies. He is either ignorant about history or he's lying.
-_-
He also pointed out that Kennedy met with the Russian leader Kruschev. That, at least, is accurate, but he fails to point out that the mistakes Kennedy made at that meeting encouraged Russia to arm Cuba with Nuclear warheads which resulted in the Cuban Missle Crisis.
o.O
So, much for the wisdom behind negotiating with our enemies.

- Qong, on 05/24/2008, -1/+7Great article, Krauthammer is awesome.
It's clear that Barack Obama does not belong anywhere near the White House, nor does he belong in any position of power for that matter. He's imbecilic when it comes to everything but his special brand of deep and pompous rhetoric; sadly, some people apparently fall right in line when hearing such things.
No matter, if he does get the Democratic nomination, then I don't see him winning in November. Most of supporters will probably get bored and forget about all of this election business by that time anyway. - alkajazz, on 05/25/2008, -0/+4Wow yes lets just get into more wars. That sounds like a good idea. I would rather talk with our enemies diplomatically.
- flip2trip, on 05/24/2008, -1/+5Krauthammer please don't cloud the issue with facts. Obama is the feel good attraction of the summer!
- flip2trip, on 05/25/2008, -1/+2Obama, in his own words: "What I said was I would meet with our adversaries including Iran, including Venezuela, including Cuba, including North Korea, without preconditions but that does not mean without preparation….there’s a huge difference."
You bet Mr. Obama, there is a HUGE difference. (This guy went to Harvard?)
What does this mean exactly? He's going to pack a suitcase before he leaves? Book a hotel? - Nannybell, on 05/24/2008, -2/+2It is alarming to hear of the mistakes he is making regarding history, but even more alarming is that many of his supporters are probably unaware that what he is saying is inaccurate. They don't care if he knows his history. They just want their free handouts from sugar daddy Uncle Sam. And to those liberals who DO know their history and who ARE aware of these errors by Obama: Do you really think he is qualified to be President?
