- HappyScrappy, on 07/26/2008, -1/+8Corrected article shows he most certainly expected he was being overheard.
- smacksaw, on 07/26/2008, -1/+15He's certainly not cut for political life since that conversation contained no references to Halliburton, KBR, AIPAC, CFR and whatever other corrupt organisations suit your particular viewpoint. I mean, the gall of the man to simply talk about making decisions responsibly? Whatever WAS he thinking?!?!?!
- quaxon, on 07/27/2008, -2/+1Yea he'd rather wait to give face to face speeches to AIPAC and CFR (which him and his wife already have, repeating the same rhetoric as the neocons). Im sure kbr and haliburton will cash in soon if they havent already bought him. Anyone who thinks obama will be any change is a complete idiot.
- joeboutte, on 07/26/2008, -1/+3Too many mikes and cameras in this world. We live in the time of "big brother" and the press is always trying to get a "gotcha" on candidates and political figures.
- eschompthis, on 07/26/2008, -14/+2how about digg tools lick obamas taint while your at it
- xerexes1, on 07/27/2008, -3/+1I was really hoping for a "cut off his nuts" comment with accompanying hand gestures.
- grungegbunny, on 07/27/2008, -0/+3And he still didn't stick his foot in his mouth.
- anselm83, on 07/27/2008, -0/+7When caught with an open mic, some people discuss their philosophy of leadership.... others just call their wife a *****.
- str3ama, on 07/29/2008, -0/+1he plays it cautiously when in public, I'm quite sure he's being extra careful to make sure that such slipups don't happen - not like a certain current president, who has nicknames for his staff like condi.
- soulkitchen, on 07/29/2008, -0/+1I wish he'd had 15 minutes to think about the telecom immunity bill. Maybe then he'd still have my vote. As much as I like the guy, I simply won't vote for someone who (IMHO) handed the Bush Admin exactly what it wanted and disregarded the Constitution.
