Obama's Credibility With The World Already Increasing
theseminal.com — Rebel groups in Nigeria are calling for Barack Obama or Jimmy Carter to help negotiate a cease-fire with the government. If Obama seizes the opportunity, 2009 could be a transformative year for America's relations with the world.

- cashman57, on 05/09/2008, -4/+5Obama will not bring our troops home from Iraq, he has already stated he would keep troops in Iraq and move some of them from Iraq to the "right war" in Afghanistan and Pakistan. If Obama could stop the slaughter in Africa that would be a good thing but I seriously doubt that the calls for him are anything more than political crap.He could have done something with the chair of the Senate Foreign Relations subcommittee but he has failed to even convene it once. Jimmy Carter was clearly the most inept president of the modern era and we saw what a failure it was for him to talk to Hamas. All they did was reaffirm their hatred and loathing for Israel and recap their plans to eliminate Israel and their refusal to grant Israel the right to exist.
The way to get back our reputation is by electing someone who would not keep our troops in battle without a war declaration and who would bring all of our troops home.
Obama would not do that. Obama wants to be the leader of the free world, not president of the united States and thinks he's being elected king or something with his wacky ideas for how to control Americans.
He has refused to sponsor or cosponsor the Enumerated Powers act which proves he is not interested in following the Constitution.
He has shown his disregard for our sovereignty and our Constitution with his global poverty act and has shown his disdain for our right to be secure and keep and bear arms with his penchant for banning guns and making criminals out of Americans who own guns.
Perhaps his words are causing his credibility to increase outside of the united States but his actions and his lies have cost him credibility here.- Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -1/+2Excellent points, cashman. You and I WILL get buried down deep by the Obamamaniaics who choose to see only the glitter and promise of "hope" (hype) from Barack, a charismatic puppet.
