- ftc08, on 07/13/2009, -10/+81The first of many investigations I hope.
- cygnus2112, on 07/13/2009, -3/+32Read the article? It was stating how the deaths most likely occurred by the Northern Alliance / the current government's armed forces. They had a beef with the Taliban, but nothing excuses mass execution of prisoners.
But good luck blaming this on the US Army, you *****. - PityDaFool, on 07/13/2009, -3/+32Ooo, a probe.
- subliminali, on 07/13/2009, -0/+27it was an afghan warlord who allegedly did these crimes. Way to read past the title moron.
- wtrwlkr, on 07/13/2009, -2/+25Hi, member of the US military here (not Army). I just wanted to say "go ***** yourself". That's all.
- CircleFusion, on 07/13/2009, -5/+27anti-american?
- inactive, on 07/13/2009, -7/+25Hey, first brave thing Obama's done in a long time.
thanks for not playing defense Mr President. - MatzahMan, on 07/13/2009, -3/+20way to stereotype people who fight for their country *****!
- ftc08, on 07/13/2009, -0/+14RTFA
- andrewh7, on 07/13/2009, -2/+15His middle name is Hussein! Oh my God - I better hate him now because his name invokes a preexisting animosity towards a deceased Iraqi dictator. Nice job showing how much of an ignorant douchebag you are.
- inactive, on 07/13/2009, -2/+14OMG u called him by his middle name! Now that shows that's obviously not white, and a terrorist to boot! Wow! OMG. lol
you're so predictable. - andrewh7, on 07/13/2009, -3/+15Criticizing Bush equals Anti-American? You're guys claiming irrational bias in favor of Obama? Hah. Get your head out of your ass.
- rabidjester, on 07/13/2009, -3/+14We need an ASCII of Cartman licking the tears off of Scott Tenerman's face.
- sulthernao, on 07/13/2009, -6/+17Well Holder says that he is leaning towards torture investigations. But I won't hold my breathe waiting for Cheney's trial.
- spriggig, on 07/13/2009, -3/+13Not that we'll ever get to hear the results.
- AHEDRON, on 07/13/2009, -3/+12"U.S. allies" doesn't mean our own troops
- theonlywizdum, on 07/13/2009, -1/+10Non-existent, just like that stupid rumor should be.
- andrewh7, on 07/13/2009, -0/+9Investigating criminal conduct carried out by powerful government officials is never a waste of resources.
- Agamemnon582bc, on 07/13/2009, -0/+8I missed the part where Bush killed one million people with his bare hands. Was that when he was flying the rescue helicopters in Louisiana and leaving the black people to save last?
- rabidjester, on 07/13/2009, -0/+8Wrong network..? Does anyone here speak crazy?
- Spudster, on 07/13/2009, -3/+10Obama's position is so frustrating. The idea that we should simply "move on" is ridiculous and counter to every tenet of justice that exists in this country. When wrongs are committed, the proper action is to investigate them and air the dirt out fully in the public for all to see. Only then can we move on.
- zdwade, on 07/14/2009, -0/+7obama = joke
joke is on american people. - Intervene, on 07/13/2009, -8/+14Where's the probe into the 1 million dead by Bush?
- andrewh7, on 07/13/2009, -0/+6Bush's approval rating was 22% when he left office. That's how I define tanking.
- shig, on 07/13/2009, -1/+7"The Convoy of Death"
Google it. Basically the Northern Alliance was picking up Afghans from villages attempting to get paid for their capture, which was common practice among certain US agents in the field. When they didn't get paid they drove the the villagers, packed into shipping containers, about 10 miles from Sherberghan Prison to Dasht-e-Leili and executed them. Some of the villagers reportedly asked for air holes in their containers, and the Northern Alliance simply shot holes into them, killing some of it's occupants.
Maybe they'll investigate "The Airlift of Evil" next. - andrewh7, on 07/13/2009, -0/+6Glad to hear you're not American. We don't need anymore *****.
- Propethic, on 07/13/2009, -1/+7yeah, republicans have a great record when it comes to wars. Have they ever actually finished a war yet? How did Bush senior do in toppling hussein? Is the confederacy still around?
- KibblesnBitts, on 07/13/2009, -0/+5In the words of the grouchy human in Two Stupid Dogs: Isn't that cute? BUT IT'S WRONG!
- huggybarrel, on 07/13/2009, -3/+8@ryan32 you mean like the whole war over the last 8 years?
- ftc08, on 07/13/2009, -1/+6Says the party who stole two elections.
- wheresjim, on 07/13/2009, -2/+6This was the BS talking point Mary Matalin was spewing this morning on CNN. It is in and of itself a distraction.
- gcnaddict, on 07/13/2009, -5/+9I can understand investigating Cheney deceiving Congress as perhaps being a waste of resources while we're in a recession, but investigating this definitely makes sense.
Hopefully, this didn't have to be said. If this kind of thing came up and wasn't investigated until after creating an even nastier stain on our already tainted image, we'd just look like we caved under pressure. It's better that it's being looked into now. - GeekNurse, on 07/13/2009, -0/+4Are you using drugs?
- AndrewDB, on 07/13/2009, -1/+5Sure, for blind people like you who hunt for every single flaw he does.
Go back to watching Fox News and enjoy your Idiot Box. - WhiteHatTrick, on 07/13/2009, -1/+4Why is Obama not only continuing where Bush left off but EXPANDING the wars? Why is the only thing changing the pace of the robbery and death by government? Obama lied to us guys, time to wake up
- catdawg555, on 07/13/2009, -0/+3manito hmnnnn filthy murderer ? I'll wear that as a badge of honor comming from a punk like you.
- stuffradio, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE
- lindenwold, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2kill yourself
- photogger, on 07/13/2009, -7/+9Wow 2,000 Taliban POW's in mass graves, is there a problem with this? Sounds like a good start to me.
- Stingwolf, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2"How is invading a country full of people who never did a thing to yours "fighting for their country"?"
So, I take it you're not from a country who was a part of the coalition, then? - BotchaMcCoola, on 07/14/2009, -0/+2Great, a major mistake and expense to attack such a backward third world country in the first place. Now our government is going to rip us off even further to investigate bad consequences.
- theonlywizdum, on 07/13/2009, -1/+3Really? I thought we were past this by now.
- zmigliozzi, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2They got their visa from Saudi Arabia, through the Visa Express Program planned under Clinton and enacted under Bush. That fast tracked visas and to supposed saudi students with no background checks by the US.
- Agamemnon582bc, on 07/13/2009, -1/+3That's funny, when ever I view an article that has Obama in the subject line, the related stories are "Rats in the Senate exposed!" and "Dem leader laughs at the idea of reading bills before voting." What does that tell you.....???
- BotchaMcCoola, on 07/13/2009, -1/+3So let me see. Killing lots of Muslim Hillbilly Taliban and Iraqis is going to get revenge on Suicidal Saudi 911 terrorists then? Make it a trifecta of stupidity and waste about $5 trillion and counting fast of US prosperity. 911 was not a military attack.
- suzanek, on 07/13/2009, -1/+3what he is going to do?
- QreepyBORIS, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2No, but I speak jive!
- SirCharge, on 07/15/2009, -0/+1Nothing brave about it. He's ordering an investigation of an execution in another country committed by foreigners. There will be no repercussions for anyone except that headlines like the above will implicate American soldiers to anyone who doesn't read past the first line.
- WiretapStudios, on 07/13/2009, -0/+1They'll prob. type up the report, toss it in the pit, and shovel dirt back over the whole thing.
- troye, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1FEMA camps are all over the U.S with grave sites for its citizens.[1]
