- staplemaniac, on 07/25/2008, -0/+2Reading the transcript of the speech I thought that he did use a lot of rhetoric and avoided hitting major issues. I think he's gotten so used to giving speeches in the U.S.A. (where we've heard his stance on issues we're supposed to care about) that he let his European speech tend the same direction when really, he should have been talking about what his Europe policies would be as president beyond vagaries.
