Obama: 'The Bomb That Fell on Pearl Harbor'

littlegreenfootballs.com — An astounding gaffe from Barack Obama, who grew up in Hawaii but apparently never learned the history of the attack on Pearl Harbor: Obama Ignorance Watch. I ’ve written several times that I suspect Barackof being almost completely ignorant of world history. Now it’s becoming clear that he’s even ignorant of the history of the state he grew up in.

It is clear Obama has learned one thing quite well during his sojourn on this earth. He can speak the written word pretty well. Could he write it himself? I doubt it. Can he define it? I doubt it. Will he ever shut up? Sadly, no. Will he be elected POTUS? The thought is just too sickening to ponder.

      Me, too. I (finally!) came to the same conclusion several years ago. If somebody is referred to as an "expert", the red flags go up.

I would hope that it would be impossible for someone of his intellect to reach the levels of government that he has, then again he probably is a true representative of his supporters. Perhaps he is tired from campaigning so rigorously and needs a vacation from the stress. How will he survive being President of The United States? Look at what happens to all our Presidents, they go into office and 8 years later come out old men. Reagan, Nixon, Ford Carter, even Bill Clinton all looked old and haggled with gray hair after eight years in office. I don't think Barack Hussein Obama can stand the pressure of all the change and hope.

    Also, on the substance of the article, he left an "s" off of "bomb". The fact that you're even trying to spin this as a gaffe shows how desperate you all are.

    Merriam-Webster Dictionary definition of bomb:
    "#9 something unexpected and unpleasant —often used with drop "dropped a bomb with her resignation"

    I'll translate it into Obama's sentence for you: "...from the [unexpected and unpleasant occurrence] that fell on Pearl Harbor"
