Obama Peace Prize Highlight's Clinton's Lack Thereof

washingtonpost.com — Pity poor Bill Clinton. He helped promote peace in Northern Ireland (although the guys directly involved won the Nobel Peace Prize). He devoted more hours to achieving a Middle East peace deal than any other U.S. president. The Swedes (or Norwegians) love to kiss American Presidents' ass, but Lewinsky got to Bill Clinton's before they got a chance.

  • Skeptica, on 10/09/2009, -0/+1The Nobel peace prize is probably the most blatant bribery of its kind. People in power should not be rewarded by Nobel for doing the popular thing. Obama is a very smart man, but he's still a politician, not a statesman. A statesman does what's right, a politician does what's popular.
