- Granfalloon, on 05/05/2009, -0/+4This non-Democrat has no problem with this burger joint jaunt.....let he who hath not at one time jaunted to a burger joint cast the first stone.
- jwilder6, on 05/05/2009, -0/+3OK, before I ever start reading other comments I know a gazzilion will be bashing these two over what it cost US tax payers for those burgers. Although I am NOT an Obama supporter I have to say, that was pretty cool. Think about it, they very likely just turned the owner of this joint into a millionaire over night simply by being there? The down side for this poor, now evil-rich small business owner is that he'll have to may much higher taxes on the new business just created by this Presidential Visit because of his newly found income...
- Trick07, on 05/05/2009, -1/+3When people laugh at how petty "the right" is I look at the first post and see the petty bickering of a partisan hack on the right and just shake my head.
The left looked like fools when they complained about every little thing Bush did... just like how the right look like fools now for complaining about everything Obama does.
I guess the old saying "pick your battles" is long lost around these parts... - Trick07, on 05/06/2009, -0/+2Just as bad as the Fake Outrage Democrat Brigade that cried over every single thing Bush did...
Oh but that is a different story, huh? I mean that was Bush. Not Obama. No doubt you just don't see the comparison... Oh well, just scream racist and run off and pretend the left crybabies are actually better than the right crybabies. - Trick07, on 05/05/2009, -2/+4About the same as it would cost a Republican president. Really now, are you really going to make a big deal out of this when *all* presidents past, present and future will do this?
However, I will be the 1st to apologize when you point out your rant about Bush doing similar... - kithogan, on 05/05/2009, -3/+5Obama and Biden couldn't get a burger at the White House mess?
HOW MUCH did it cost the taxpayers for this little jaunt to a burger joint?
Cars, secret service, police escorts etc etc? What show-boaters they both are. - Spindig, on 05/05/2009, -0/+2I'm just amazed that this is what is now considered big news. MSNBC had it as "breaking news!" http://digg.com/politics/MSNBC_Breaks_News_on_Obam ...

Other than some gas $, I don't see how you figure it cost the taxpayers a dime. The POTUS has full time Secret Service protection no matter where he goes. The article also clearly stated that they both paid cash for their meals. Your whining is pathetic. - 7papa7, on 05/05/2009, -2/+2Who gives a damn what Obama and Biden do for lunch. Is this the deepest the press can dig on their love affair with the Marixst.
- normlsparky, on 05/06/2009, -2/+2I think it's pretty cool that they ate at an unknown small business, stood in line and paid with cash, just like us regular folks do. I'm not sure why eating lunch would piss anyone off. Everyone I know does it on a daily basis.
- Lightstab, on 05/05/2009, -3/+2Here's comes the Fake Outrage Republican Brigade.
