Nuremberg Prosecutor: Invasion=Crime Against Peace=War Crime
smirkingchimp.com — Bush’s apologists would point out that time was of the essence and extraordinary means were needed to cope with the situation. The entity which superseded the Nurenburg trials was the international court of human rights. Member states subscribed to the principles of human rights and the US was also a signatory . Just before the war in Iraq the US withdrew from the International legislation and passed a law by which any US citizen would be forcibly removed from any external jail.
In the current situation where the US does not recognize international legislation defining war crimes, crimes against humanity and other crimes under international law which legal entity holds perpetrators accountable.- yellowcakewalk, on 08/19/2008, -0/+5Thanks for the info! The Nuremburg Tribunal concluded that starting a war of aggression is the ultimate evil because it opens the Pandora's Box from which spring all the evils that inevitably come with war. If anyone can be accused of being a war criminal, then Bush and his gang can be also.
- tomjeff08, on 08/19/2008, -0/+3Wait until these bastards and the rest of the police state terrorists are tried for treason against this Nation and claim "I was only following orders". They'll be housed in a prison and made to grow hemp. They'll also be made to make the hemp into suitable ropes. You can guess what will happen next.
- Conspiracy20, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1I do hope so.
