- MadSquirrel, on 11/23/2007, -1/+131) “On a Digg religion poll, out of a base of over four thousand votes taken, 45.56 percent are reported to be atheists” – You are fighting an uphill battle.
2) Digg is about networking, and in order to get information out you have to have a net work of friends to propagate the news article.
3) Digg has started to wipeout all comments over 60 days, so it is not even a good place to leave behind relevant information unless you repeat yourself, and you’ll wind up doing that anyway. (I’m not trying to be depressing)
4) Comments can help draw attention to your articles, making them a favorite, and the new option is to send a Shout when you post it. - Indyanna, on 11/23/2007, -1/+10Hi, Dawne - Welcome to digg, such as it is. :-) I've added you to my friends list. I hope you stick around, and I look forward to reading your submissions and posts.
- Dawneman, on 11/23/2007, -2/+9Thanks... I know...but trying to share the Gospel is always an uphill battle.... as every other part of faith right? I just got to remember it is not the results that matter... it is the obedience. Actually I find your comment encouraging. :-)
- Salesti, on 11/24/2007, -1/+8Okay, that just reaffirms my decision to hunt down my friends' diggs and digg them up. I was thinking that a larger network of friends would be overwhelming, but nerves be damned! It's time to shove some light up to the front page!
I didn't even realize (till Digg re-vamped) that I had friends....duhhhhhh.....will be hunting down and friending with greater determination now. - Dawneman, on 11/23/2007, -3/+10Doesn't anyone care about persecuted Christians? No one has looked at this post.
- TeachX3, on 11/28/2007, -0/+6Standing with you, my brothers and sisters in Christ, in prayer for the persecuted Christians around the world and here on digg as well... may our Father God bless His people, as we come together on this internet site, in a way that brings glory to Him and shines the Light of Jesus for those fellow digg users who may be in the dark, in the Holy Name of Christ Jesus our Lord, AMEN!
- Dawneman, on 11/24/2007, -1/+6Can you make me a mutual friend then? I tried to send you a blessing back.. but since I'm not your mutual friend I couldn't shout you! See my response on my profile page. Thanks! :-D
- drachemorder, on 11/28/2007, -0/+4Don't worry about adding a lot of friends. I do that too, and it's not particularly overwhelming. I'm trying to find and friend as many of the conservative Christian folks on Digg as I can. It's gotten to where I just start out on the "Friends' activity" section of my profile to see what they're all digging and commenting on. I find most of the best articles that way, and it helps me find and reinforce fellow believers here.
- TrashDispatch, on 12/18/2007, -0/+1The Trash Dispatch has added you as a friend as well. Nevertheless, this story- http://digg.com/world_news/Vicar_Dire_Times_For_Ir ... -only recieved 8diggs. And it involves the Murder and Outright Cleansing of Christians in Iraq. Which, it would seem, is the Real reason violence has gone down in Iraq. As there just Aren't anymore Christians to be killed! Which is not to say that they have All been killed. As Most of them (Millions) Fled for their lives to Syria of all places. This is a CBS 20/20 News report, and it is Astounding! Yet, as I said, only 8diggs.
