- delelles, on 10/11/2007, -30/+338Thank you Norman Mineta for manning up & telling the truth!
- jtop, on 10/11/2007, -18/+266Why isn't Cheney impeached yet???????????
- sqru2, on 10/11/2007, -29/+229What more proof is needed?
Eyewitness testimony UNDER OATH vs LIES.
...inside job. - dukeeeey, on 10/11/2007, -21/+213http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDfdOwt2v3Y
The original testimony by Norman Mineta
Don't let the truth get burried ... - ajmeade1, on 10/11/2007, -22/+177It's too bad the balls got bred out of Americans. This country used to be full of a bunch of question asking, authority rejecting ass-kickers who loved truth and liberty. Now we are a snot-nosed, whiny bunch of effeminate pussies who like singing contests on Fox. Screw impeachment. All that will do is put someone just as corrupt and evil in his place. Based on witness testimony and circumstantial evidence alone we have enough to ***** go in and arrest the whole lot of them. Of course 9/11 was an inside job, and their war in Iraq is swimming success. THEY TOLD US THEY WERE GOING TO DO IT BEFORE IT HAPPENED! (see PNAC). If they need someone to man the gallows, I will be more than willing. I say make examples out of all of them. The democrats are just as guilty, and like it or not we have a one party government, and that's the party of the elite. The only thing that will save us is a mass awakening, followed by revolt. They sure as hell aren't going to show themselves out the door.

Are you aware that dick cheney has a 9% approval rating? Why are you so willing to believe that government CANNOT act against the population when nearly every government in history has done it? - Tipharet, on 10/11/2007, -6/+119Regardless of conspiracy are not, this administration lies, manipulates and only cares about themselves. Anyone who thinks this admin did anything good for this world obviously has no clue. These men are evil plain and simple.
- fr0mundacheese, on 10/11/2007, -21/+116Do you people need more incentive to act?
- mattysan, on 10/11/2007, -5/+92Yeah, there are way too many thought-provoking stories being posted on Digg! We want more Paris Hilton self-portraits! Top ten hacks for your dog! An amazing photo capturing a fat man in mid-fart! Rot my brain please!
- Qumahlin, on 10/11/2007, -18/+96Anyone who thinks the plane wasn't shot down is an idiot. Look at the few photos and bits of footage of the "crash" area and compare it to pictures of EVERY OTHER plane crash into open ground that there is on record.
Why is it that the plane crashed into the ground yet there was no large crash crater? Why was the debris spread across such a large area, and why were there no large chunks of debris that would be typical of a ground crash? Why was the area cordoned off even more so then the other crash sites and why did every witness who was in the area at the time make statements like "you wouldn't even know the plane crashed the debris is so small"
This is the internet so im not going to argue or state my qualifications since I just find that asinine, but i'll tell you this i'm familiar with planes, the only way a Boeing 757 is going to get turned into tiny bits of debris with no main fuselage debris , large crater, etc is from multiple targeted strikes against the plane. The pentagon also at one point stated the closest jets were over 100 miles away and were unarmed....um...no....anyone in the area including myself can tell you there were jets and they sure as hell weren't 100 miles behind the plane, unless they have a whole new meaning for the world miles that im not familiar with
Don't get me wrong, I fully support us shooting the plane down as it was going to go down one way or another and I would rather an open field then a city/town. The officials saw their chance and bottom line is no matter how necessary it was the goverment is not going to tell the american public they "murdered" a plane load of civilians no matter how good it was for everyone else...there are simply too many people that would find the act reprehensible. - JebBlack, on 10/11/2007, -13/+819/11, the greatest false flag event yet! Cheney who was in control of our air defense on 9/11 allowed 9/11 to happen to further an agenda that would make him and his friends rich and to use 9/11 to gain the power (patriot act etc) to control us all. If you aren't awake yet you soon will be!
- shadowspawn, on 10/11/2007, -22/+86It WAS shot down. There were callers to the local radio stations saying they saw fighter jets in the area. I was right near Willow Grove and I know I damn well heard some interesting sounds that day.
- crazybugger, on 10/11/2007, -8/+66bush/cheney pawned america on 9/11
- NikoKun, on 10/11/2007, -6/+60It was definitely a preventable catastrophe... -_-
- obliviousfool, on 10/11/2007, -4/+58When I was looking into Mineta's testimony a few years ago I noticed something odd about the official archive of the testimony.
On Friday 5/23/2003 Mineta gave his testimony at the very beginning of "panel one."
http://www.9-11commission.gov/archive/hearing2/9-11Commission_Hearing_2003-05-23.htm
Here is the full text.
Yet, if you look at the video that bit is missing!
http://www.9-11commission.gov/archive/hearing2/index.htm (day two, panel one)
The video of Mineta's testimony starts in the middle, well after the comment about the conversation he overheard. - paganmonkeyboy, on 10/11/2007, -5/+55why was the only tape of the events of that day from teh control towers cut up and thrown into multiple garbage cans ?
- Vinadetta, on 10/11/2007, -27/+77Steel Buildings don't collapse at free fall speeds due to fire!!!! WTC 7!!!! If you have any logic at all you can look at the building and realize that a few unevenly spread fires in the building is not going to cause it to collapse perfectly symmetrical in on it self at all four corners at free fall speeds!!!!!! Physics and Math doesn't LIE, People Do
9-11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB!!!! - jp007, on 10/11/2007, -3/+46Man, I love how sometimes when I click "show comment", the comment slides down, and then immediately back up into hiding, so I can't read it, much less any of the hidden replies. Digg's new commenting system sucks...
- jron, on 10/11/2007, -7/+49His testimony isn't rocket science. Mineta states that authorization was given to shoot down the plane. Someone in the PEOC was giving time of impact announcements to the vice president and asking if the shoot down orders still stand. If the plane wasn't shot down, the order was to stand down... Mineta clearly states planes were scrambled and in a position to shoot down flight 77. Obviously, fighters were requesting authorization to shoot it down... Dick said NO.
- musicbear, on 10/11/2007, -8/+49While I don't believe a conspiracy of such complexity, I would have to say, at this point, I wouldn't be surprised to hear any of this wack job stuff was true.
- Look4Truth, on 10/11/2007, -9/+49Depends on who you talk to. Bashers wouldn't believe you if you had Cheney on video.
- npk9, on 10/11/2007, -3/+42But my vote counts so much more on American Idol then it does with the American Government!
- ISIfunded911, on 10/11/2007, -1/+35From Senator Max Cleland who quit the commission calling it a national scandal:
"I don't know if they're hiding something. But the public will never know and the 9/11 commission will never know because under the current deal, a minority of commissioners will see a small number of documents and then brief the White House on what they're going to tell the other commissioners. Wait a minute! That doesn't make any sense at all."

- Qumahlin, on 10/11/2007, -1/+29http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b1/UA93_crash_site.jpg
Yup, cleanest crash site in aviation history. If a pilot can learn to crash a 757 into the ground and leave such a clean site, they deserve an accomodation...that is unless *gasp* the plane was shot down and the debris field is MUCH larger then what we were shown and which explains why there are no exceptionally large chunks of fuselage, tail, etc....these things simply do not disintergrate even if you slam them into the ground at 500MPH (which is slower then the plane was going when it supposedly "crashed" - GlargTheKelfn, on 10/11/2007, -3/+30looking at the debris pattern, it is beyond obvious it was not a crash. 11 miles long? please. that was shot down from height. a crash debris field would not be >10 miles long unless the plane was moving at near warp speed :)
- VinBea, on 10/11/2007, -7/+33Without our enlisting the help of the US Military - those who've taken sworn oaths to defend America from all enemies foreign 'and domestic' - we average Americans don't stand a snowballs' chance in hell of throwing off this government working so hard to put us average Americans into slavery. After all, they have the tanks, the bombs, and the commando units that's been bought and paid for by the average American being used and abused by its elected politicians now ruling with impunity out of Washington DC
- holisticgirl, on 10/11/2007, -4/+29As opposed to your profound quip: "whoo more fuel for the loose change nut jobs". Dan dear, how EXACTLY does Chaney giving a stand down apply, Exclusively to the 'nut jobs'? Wouldn't an intelligent person derive from this new 'evidence' that it applies to ALL of us? I know that is a stretch, but indulge me for a moment. Wouldn't applying this ONLY to that particular group denote that you yourself are small-minded, so blinded by some sort of bitterness that you are entirely incapable of seeing outside of Your little box, and comprehending that this admission, this exposure of evidence is not only pertinent but damning to say the least. When you are able to expound upon why this applies ONLY to the 'nut jobs' do chime in, we all anxiously await you insight and expertise. More than 20 words, if at all possible Would be nice.
- miriclaire, on 10/11/2007, -1/+26Because Americans complain but don't do anything. You don't mind going to fight over in some other poor schmucks country, when the REAL war should be fought on your own land--to take your governemnt back.
- laserblazer, on 10/11/2007, -3/+24The same reason the crime-scene in NYC was contaminated, post-haste, by a Bush minion - Princess Rudy Giuliani.
Giuliani kept out forensic firefighters until the steel could be removed and sequestered. It's people that ignore that fact that are America's enemies. - ptrr, on 10/11/2007, -2/+23Yeah, that's right who cares if the information is legitimate? It's from crazy ol Alex Jones so it's irrelevant. Hey, whatever makes you sleep at night. Idol is on tonight, got the TIVO ready?
- Ogrady, on 10/11/2007, -5/+26Of course NORAD was ordered to stand down! And then they all got medals for their fine work on that day. The proof that 911 was an inside job is glaring and incontrovertible.
- pinkSocks, on 10/11/2007, -3/+23Evidence like this stand-down order?
Edit: (damn new comments) @herkimer - dezmd, on 10/11/2007, -7/+25How does his timeline being incorrect for some periods negate what was witnessed?
- Tsen, on 10/11/2007, -1/+19Y'know, I'm not big on conspiracy theories--but this has long since crossed the line into the "plausible" area.
- Run4ny, on 10/11/2007, -1/+18I like Mineta. You look at him and listen to him and can't come out without feeling that he's really genuine and sincere. He was there. He said what he saw and heard. I have no reason not to believe him.
9/11 was an inside job.
Dick = the real Osama Bin Laden
PNAC/CIA = the real Al Qaeda - dukeeeey, on 10/11/2007, -3/+20it's not anti american to stand up to criminals
- greenback1, on 10/11/2007, -4/+21Minnetta's testimony about Cheney was not referencing the Shanksville plane which appears to have been shot down. The ORDERS in question were in reference to shoot down protocol and specifically about the plane which apparently crashed into the Pentagon. In June of 2001 Rumsfeld had changed the protocol for issuing shoot down orders. Prior to June 2001 Fighter Squadron Commanders or Ground Air Defense Commanders were permitted to issue shoot down orders. After June 2001 the orders had to come from the top, Rumsfeld himself had to give the orders. On the morning of 9/11 while the plane was approaching the Pentagon Rumsfeld went missing for nearly 20 minutes. As the plane approached the Pentagon no one could change the order, which explains Minnetta hearing the young Officer asking Cheney,. "do the orders still stand?" They had to sit there and let the plane crash into the Pentagon (or appear to fly into the Pentagon as it might have pulled up at the last minute and provided cover for a missile strike at the Pentagon along with making it appear to wittinesses that a Commercial Jet crashed into the Pentagon). This scenario basically removes all responsibility from everyone involved and provides Rumsfeld with the perfect excuse that in all the confusion the plane crashed into the Pentagon. They layed out there cover story way before 9/11.
- Tsen, on 10/11/2007, -2/+19Y'know, I'm not big on conspiracy theories--but this has long since crossed the line into the "plausible" area, and it's time for some REAL investigation.
- Infinite84, on 10/11/2007, -2/+19That's because the wack jobs are the ones who are running things, then when innocent people document & point out the bad things those wack jobs are doing they are called wack jobs for it!
- webcrumb, on 10/11/2007, -0/+16"Incredible claims require incredible proof."
Credible proof.
Incredible proof would be... incredible. :) - docrock911, on 10/11/2007, -5/+21Cheney needs to be hung.
- holisticgirl, on 10/11/2007, -4/+20Herkie, sweetie, address the current issue, That Chaney has been exposed for having given a stand down order, k. I am not sure, in your world of delusion what THIS particular news story has to do with admitting We are wrong. Rise above and out of your angry subjective box, be intelligent for a moment and just bloody comment on the issue at hand. Soooo bored with the little guy rantings that are a manifestation of inferiority complexes AND a lack of knowledge and/or open mindedness. Be articulate for a change, come back with SOMETHING clever, something insightful at least......here's your chance. :)

That crazy Alex Jones is at it again, oh wait Time Magazine is reporting on it too. - joltwagon, on 10/11/2007, -0/+15Norm Mineta's testimony directly contradicts the 9/11 Commission Report and Cheney's timeline. Worse yet, this testimony under oath was omitted from the Commission's Report. Conclusion: Cheney's orders regarding the plane approaching the Pentagon was a "stand down" by using simple logic. Flight 77 was not even intercepted-- let alone shot down! Furthermore, the Pentagon's missile defense system also stood down to allow the attack to occur. We must have a real 9/11 Investigation!
- Monstradamus, on 10/11/2007, -9/+23RIP Norman Mineta.
- Infinite84, on 10/11/2007, -5/+19STFU the "conspiracy crap" is real & it's the whole point.
- ptrr, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16Cheney doesn't need to explain himself, he is no longer part of the Executive Branch and should now be considered a living god.
