Nobel prizewinner, author attacked at S.F. hotel

- grendelboogie, on 10/12/2007, -5/+37I'm still amazed at these deluded individuals who, despite the preponderance of historical evidence, claim the Holocaust never happened. What possible gain can come from denying the Holocaust took place?
Iran would like to see Israel gone? Whatever, they have to know the US would never let that happen and claiming the Holocaust never took place is probably the least effective method for trying to undermine the Israeli government. Actually, the Israeli government seems to be particularly adept at undermining themselves recently, so Iran should just let them continue on their merry way.- Conspiracy, on 10/12/2007, -6/+13I don't thing this Ziopedia group has anything to do with Iran. This is home grown terrorism.
- grendelboogie, on 10/12/2007, -8/+9I agree this has nothing to do with Iran, but Iran's leaders do like to deny the Holocaust whenever given the opportunity to discuss the topic.

What possible gain do geocentrists seek from promoting the view that the Sun orbits the Earth? What possible gain is there in denying that HIV causes AIDS? Some people just deny things for purely ideological reasons. They don't care how much they have to lie or how much it harms society. All that matters to them is their ideology.
So it falls to us to promote the truth. - theblooms, on 10/12/2007, -8/+13Looks like it is an Australian site. Maybe he was working on instructions from Mel Gibson.

http://www.ziopedia.org/content/view/3217/58/ - DeFex, on 10/12/2007, -6/+9Billions of People believe what they want without letting facts or evidence stand in their way. It is called "religion"
Most people do not stalk and attack whoever they think is "evil" - LesterKing, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Thanks for the link, Saikahn.
I figured I'd read it just to see what all that was about.
Those people are ***** insane.
That's pretty much what I got out of it.
Too bad clicking that link put me on an FBI watch-list... - SomeJoe, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I wish I could believe the FBI was that competent. I'd sleep better.
- fluffyturtle, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2We didn't go to the moon, *insert JFK conspiracy theory*, aliens visit this planet, there is a base on the moon, 9/11 was staged, one world order, blah blah blah.
People are nut jobs, all there is too it. - siszam, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3Reminds me of the deluded individuals who openly hate Christians, call them names and say they should be banned. Atheists are a hate group. The KKK is a hate group. There is always a group of people who hate you for doing nothing more than living a peaceful life and having your own beliefs. Even when common sense supports your beliefs.
- Conspiracy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+34Over the last couple of years, I have noticed a great deal of restlessness in the white supremacy camp. I do not know if it is actual increased activity or if it is the same amount of activity and the media is hyping it. All I know is that THIS STORY should be front page news, not the Anna Nicole Smith death story.
- grendelboogie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Agreed.
- tomvendetta, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2It's funny you mention that, The Christian Science Monitor had an interesting article about white supremacy and the KKK just a few days ago. It's a good read: http://www.csmonitor.com/2007/0209/p02s02-ussc.html
- grendelboogie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Agreed.
- dankirsh, on 10/12/2007, -2/+45I know Professor Wiesel well, and the second I heard about this I was shocked. He is probably one of the nicest people I know, and literally wants nothing but the best for every single group. He doesn't hate anybody. Anybody, that is, except the Nazis for what they did to him and many others.
He once shared a story with me about how he searched his name on Google (his first time using a computer) and sites talking about how he made the entire story up came up, and how he was never in the Holocaust. He was so shocked by these sites that it scared him away from computers until recently.
Not that you would have a reason to doubt him, but if you met him myou really wouldn't. He doesn't run around criticizing people blindly, or trying to make money off of his stories, only looking for ways for humanity to become more humane. He gives away so much of his money anyways, so I don't know what this guy thought would motivate him to make it up. What a crazy guy that tried to kidnap him.- ericdano, on 10/12/2007, -11/+9That is amazing. How can people deny it?
Well, then again, we do deny that radical Islam wants to kill us........ - jrusso9, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8I also know Dr. Wiesel, and I have read all his books. This man is PURE POSITIVITY and the negative thoughts that need to be, will always attack the pure good. Even though this man, like myself, had family members who suffered death at the hands of white European people within the last 70 years, we still devote our lives (and I am sure there are many of us out there) to improving the world for ALL mankind. Even the ones who want to see us dead. How ironic is that?
- ericdano, on 10/12/2007, -11/+9That is amazing. How can people deny it?
- foopirata, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6And, strangely, on the same day..."erikf" becomes an unknown user on Digg. Coincidence? I think not.
- riverside71, on 10/12/2007, -23/+3walks ike a hoax, talks like a hoax.. and could very well be yet another hoax in a long history of 'anti-semitic' hoax attacks just to garner sympathy and deflect genuine criticism of Zionists hiding behind jews..
all these 'New Nazi' groups and agents like David Duke are promoted on the Zionist media just to keep the idiot goyim in check if they ever decide to genuinely criticize the Zionists..good thing Ziopedia blew it's cover too..- royall64, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Yea, that's why there are mountains of evidence and living survivors to tell the story.
My grandfather survived the holocaust by hiding out in the same neighborhood Ann Frank did. - Mylonite, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Have any facts to back up your 'hoax' assertion? Because it's obvious that the Nobel prizewinning dude and the crazy supremacist planned the whole thing over coffee or something. What kind of an idiot are you? No, we can't rule out the possibility that other people aren't as twisted and hateful as you - but all the evidence I see says that Wiesel is cut from far better cloth.
- manifestdata, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15Thanks riverside for cementing the fact that you Neos are ***** idiots. For a group that is completely against people of color and homosexuality, I find it weird that every one of your rally's is made up of ONLY men and everyone of those guys wears tight jeans. I mean you are completely against homosexuality, but dress like *****?
- LesterKing, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Riverside, please take your opinions to the seedy underbelly of the internet where they belong.
Digg is far too respectable a place for filth like you. - SomeJoe, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3@lesterking: Which Digg are you referring to? Because my Digg seems to have a rapidly expanding block list.
- royall64, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Yea, that's why there are mountains of evidence and living survivors to tell the story.
- squeedgie4me, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5This is ridiculous.
Has anyone clicked on any of the links at that Jewish-bashing site? One is called " http://www.jews-anonymous.org/ ". I had no idea that there was this much hatred towards this religion. The site looks vaguely familiar to the Apple website. Hmm? And one of the links on that page speaks about intellectual property rights, heh.- jrusso9, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5There are 100's of sites that are very very anti-Semitic. I believe, and have written an academic paper to back this up, that a black woman would have more chance of being elected president of the US than any person who is Jewish.
- beotch, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1You've got ask yourself why that is? Exclusive group that thinks they are the cream of humanity? Pride comes before a fall, just ask the Japanese and Chinese.
- Mylonite, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2down, wrong place

in my book, the "holocaust" comes second to communism as the deadliest - reiner15, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2He was probably drunk when he attacked... that's an excuse right?
- chicken101, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4That attacker guy is the epitome of a ***** *****.
- boontito, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7The scary part is that there is a relatively large segment of people that read that article and had the reaction of "Right on, good job exposing Wiesel as the fraud he is". It's ridiculous.
- sunayan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3@chicken101
you mean ***** *****, right? - paschutt, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1mmmm...he was "pulled" from the elevatior and "asked questions loudly"....I'm a supporter of Wiesel, but the news of this is pretty overblown.
- AdmiralAdama, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5What was the attacker's name? Jimmy Carter?
- mbthompson, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Nice, this was submitted first, somebody else posted the same damn thing, and that story has more diggs.
