No animal product in Mars Bars, company retracts their move from last week.
themanufacturer.com — The vegetarian community has rallied and won a big one. Their will be no animal product added to Mars Bars or their other chocolate bars. The manufacturer has retracted the decision to add calve stomach to their products. Major victory for animal lovers everywhere.

- preventingdeath, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0i think there are still dairy ingredients in the candy bars, which are still animal products. it's pretty irrelevant that they chose not to add rennet - there is juast as much cruelty and violence to the cows in getting the milk derivatives anyway. this is a hollow victory for animal lovers, because if you still eat the bars, you're still contributing to animal violence.
