Actually thats a complete lie. You can't be charged with a hate crime for simply hitting someone. - Alex76, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2In answer to your question I can think of two examples:
1) The guy from the Wire who was looking for Omar's lover
2) Mahoney from Police Academy
lol - Terr01, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Oy. Sorry, I'm all for civil unions and whatnot, but I don't see how this legal standard is remotely defensible.
- helinism, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Sounds divisive and more likely to engender hostility than to solve any problems. Isolating themselves is defeatist and an act of weakness!
- Boshow, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2From the article:
“Sometimes heterosexual groups and lesbian groups insult and deride and are even physically violent towards the gay male patrons.”
Firstly, I didn't think straight guys went to gay clubs. Secondly, why would lesbians fight gay guys? Their in two different leagues entirely. It seems like they just want to ban ***** from getting in, which is totally fine, but also counterintuitive for a gay club (rimshot). - atdigg, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Which straight guy wants to enter a gay bar? And which one will FIGHT to enter a gay bar... LOL
- netburnr, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Funny how the "minorities" get their way. Bet if you were to walk by and just hit someone, you would be charged with a hate crime.
