ap.google.com — Shots rang out shortly before 11 a.m. outside St. John Baptist de la Salle, a Roman Catholic church in Granada Hills, Officer Norma Eisenman said. Bystanders tackled the man and held him until he was taken into police custody. "He was tackled by an off-duty Burbank police officer" and taken into custody by Los Angeles police, she said.

- Hortnon, on 05/18/2008, -1/+5How many of those people would've taken a weapon to the Catholic church in the first place, though? It seems like an odd place to take a weapon for any "normal" people. I know I probably wouldn't be carrying there, myself.

I don't know how big this festival was, but you'd think they'd have some sort of security especially after what happened at the Colorado church shooting.
