- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -4/+31Uh oh, they're building roads! QUICK, ATTACK!
/sarcasm - swrostmore, on 10/11/2007, -7/+28You need a mountain for nuclear power if America is threatening to drop bombs on your reactor
- amirjpl, on 10/11/2007, -7/+23I am really sick of the ignorant and stupid Americans that think Iran is a great threat that they are going to attack you. Iran is smart, no me rephrase that for you. Iran is genius. Ahmadinejad (the current president) is an extremely smart man, no matter what you think of him. Iranians are respectable people and they want peace for the world, but America always has to stick its finger up everyone's ass. The Iranian people like the American people, and I am not just saying that, they really do like the American citizens, and they respect the Americans very much, but they just hate the U.S government. You can't blame them, sorry to say practically the whole world is sick and tired of the U.S.
If you ever see a video of a riot on the streets of Tehran on TV, with the Iranians saying death to America remember all the things America has done to Iran. One thing off the top my head is the attack on Iran Air Flight 655, which was commercial Airplane carrying Iranian passengers and was shot down OVER HEAD OF INTERNATIONAL WATERS. When did the U.S get the ***** right to do that.
Don't believe the ***** coverage of the attack by mainstream American media, as they lie and lie again to cover up government ***** ups and crimes. The media is doing this with Iraq war and other current events as well right now, and their are a bunch of stories submit ed to Digg supporting this.
Almost forgot to give a little quick fact. U.S gov has got young bright students at UC Berkeley to create new, and smarter nuclear weapons, so you tell me who is the dangerous country here. The worst is that we got white trash monkey as president that is in control of the use of these weapons.
..and remember Iran is the CLOSEST thing to democracy in the mid-east, so don't mess this up.
I can keep going, but if this doesn't make you think or set a spark in your head, I don't know what will.
If you want to comment make it intelligent and don't give your ignorant, uni-brain-celled, Bill O'Reilly, conservative dumb ass response. You know how the saying goes if you can say something good, then say nothing at all. - almondfilter3, on 10/11/2007, -2/+18Is this the evidence we supposedly had before going into Iraq? Arbitrary looking things and calling them dangerous?
- decepto, on 10/11/2007, -11/+26propaganda?
- Racerx52, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14How about a direct link to google?
- jimmoses, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12Maybe that's the disposal site, like the was the folks in FInland do it: http://news.bbc.co.uk/nolpda/ifs_news/hi/newsid_4948000/4948378.stm
- Chubakkaz, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11this can't get anymore hypocritical. the US keeps demanding everyone to undo their nuclear plans while the US has a butt load of nukes that can destroy the planet 9 times or something.
how is anyone seriously gonna give up the possibility of nuclear reactors and major progress over a bunch of childish tyrants that wanna police the world. - hambend, on 10/11/2007, -4/+12I don't see why swrostmore is getting dugg down. Whatever their intentions, Iran would be stupid not to take the American nuclear threat seriously.
- swrostmore, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9thats right, NUKULAR roads, NUKULAR buildings!!!!!!!!1
- jpt62089, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9Direct link anywhere?
- hectazee, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9I just see some roads and buildings.
- swrostmore, on 10/11/2007, -3/+10lol the ironic thing is, I was (and am) no longer dugg down at the time of your idiotic post
- agrabob, on 10/11/2007, -5/+12no, you need a mountain to easily bury and protect underground facilities.
See NORAD. - rlbigfish, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Even IF they were building a nuclear weapon there, it was reported not too long ago that they were 10 years off from having a nuclear weapon. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/01/AR2005080101453.html.
On top of that, the Soviet Union had some 40,000 nukes during the Cold War!
http://www.fas.org/nuke/guide/russia/doctrine/intro.htm.
Are we really supposed to be frightened into war with this little rinky dink threat?! - swrostmore, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9we're threatening to use a half-completed subterranean fission reactor against Iran?
- brycelb, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9Propoganda?????????
Good thing we aren't relying on any of the diggers to actually make a good point. - RedShirtNumber2, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8OMG! they could have a nuclear missle in 10 years or more and maybe have it on a missle that could reach Europe 15 or 20 years at the earliest! Everybody panic! Meanwhile Bush helped cover up details about Pakistan's current nuclear weapons program to keep Congress in the dark about it. George W. Bush defending America by ignoring the obvious and attacking the wrong people!
- brokenspatula, on 10/11/2007, -8/+14Do you need a mountain for nuclear power?
- Buelldozer, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6How about the Russian ones? You know, the ones they're selling all over the globe? :-)
- NRX22, on 07/23/2008, -2/+787 diggs in 3 minutes? Jesus...
- thatsmyaibo, on 10/11/2007, -6/+11At least we register our weapons with the UN and allow inspectors in without problem. You are only this cautious if you have something to hide like Iran does. My Father was born and raised there and he knows first hand that Iran has gone to ***** after the religious fanatics took over in government.
- swrostmore, on 10/11/2007, -8/+13Im getting dugg down for not being a Good American and suggesting that Iran needs to hide their nefarious nuclear b*mb factory under a mountain so that when President Giuliani drops a tactical nuke on it to prevent the Iranians from imposing Sharia on the USA, Supreme Ayatollah Khameni can ride an ICBM out of the crater all the way to D.C. Dr. Strangelove-style.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -5/+10propaganda.
- swrostmore, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me but you cant get fooled again.
- DruSam, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Even better, we can actually see some of ours go off. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomic_bombings_of_Hiroshima_and_Nagasaki
But really we are talking about Iran's nuclear project. Back on topic please, not everything revolves around America. - swrostmore, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4The liberals want to abort your baby and sell the fetus to Hamas to fuel their fetus-powered jew-killing dirigible.
- DestroyFascism, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Yes they use the tunnels in Sweden and Norway to store the waste. In Sweden it goes 4 kl deep and the waste is stored in pools of water to control the heat and energy. NORAD can preach all it likes but face it, there is no way Iran could make a bomb any time soon, it would be cheaper to buy one from Russia....
- beelz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5http://duggmirror.com/world_news/New_imagery_of_Iran_s_nuclear_project_now_on_Google_Earth/
- VitriolAndAngst, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6In a poll, I think around 2001, Iranian citizens (mostly youthful, due to a lot of deaths in the Iraq/Iran war), had about an 80% approval rating of the United States. England was somewhere around 40-60% (hey, this is from memory).
Anyway, the only reason Iran elected Ahmadinejad is because Bush was giving that "axis of evil" speech 2 weeks before their elections and had troops on their border. So of course, they went (with slim margins) for an anti-west reactionary.
Anyway, Ahmadinejad sounds more sane than Bush -- if you ever bothered to read any of his speeches. He states he wants no confrontation with the West. But of course, one can't help notice what happened to Saddam who had NO WMDs and complied with the Bush.
I expect this to be Dugg down for honesty. - VitriolAndAngst, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4The International Nuclear Regulatory Agency states that Iran doesn't have weapons enrichment. Can anyone here look at a photo like that and tell me if it produces 5% Uranium or 98% Uranium (which requires a lot of processing)?
- chrisragu, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3emmm..what are we defending against? You have been watching too much 24
- hectazee, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Frankly, I don't give a flying ***** what they do over there. They are all the way on the middle east, they can rape aliens if they want to. As long as they don't mess with me, not my problem.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Grass needs cutting and the garden could use a good weeding
- chrisragu, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3no kidding, how about that van that we claimed housed biological weapon in iraq. Man, that was really funny when it turned out no even close. Wonder what they had in the van. Kebab maybe?
- rhabd0mancer, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5I think I see a mobile bio lab and some unmanned terror drones.
- jimmoses, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Preparation is the key to all good cooking.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3All we are missing now is a high ranking general, and some aluminum tubes.
- swrostmore, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Actually "all options" specifically means nukes, and "bunker-busters" are tactical nukes.
- akamurph, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Um, the Soviet Union wasn't led by a crazed lunatic that thinks the 2nd imam or whatever is going to appear any day now... The Soviet's also understood the meaning of MAD (mutually assured destruction) - which I won't give Iran's leaders credit for.
- swrostmore, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4 TIME: You have been quoted as saying Israel should be wiped off the map. Was that merely rhetoric, or do you mean it?
Ahmadinejad: [...] Our suggestion is that the 5 million Palestinian refugees come back to their homes, and then the entire people on those lands hold a referendum and choose their own system of government. This is a democratic and popular way. - leszek, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3A nuke for a nuke and the whole world goes BOOM.
It was from Gandhi btw. - pintomp3, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3don't worry, the administration and fox news will cite this website when making their case for our next war.
- Osjpr, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2"The US would NOT use a nuke, it would be so stupid to even consider."
All Republican candidates who are running for President have said they would use nuclear weapons against another country - Coven, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5Disposal site? They don't have much to dispose of yet...
- mos6507, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Wanna take bets it looks like a crater in next year's photo?
- Racerx52, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Get the hell out of here.
- swrostmore, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3However I have the feeling the system Palestinians democratically choose might involve annihilating the jews. Just a guess. Actually I have no idea how the average Palestinian refugee feels about Jews, I don't speak arabic.
- Crzwilly, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2LOL!
My thoughts exactly. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Amen.lol
