New Zealand just got 6X bigger

news.com.au — The UN has recognised New Zealand's rights to an area of seabed six times the size of its land mass, Prime Minister Helen Clark said today. The 1.7 million square kilometre area lies within the country's continental shelf but outside its exclusive economic zone.
