New York Police deny Iran president's request to visit Ground Zero

abcnews.go.com — Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad asked permission to lay a wreath at the World Trade Center site when he comes to NYC next week, but the request was denied because of ongoing construction there, police spokesman Paul Browne said.
