Nearly 10,000 reported killed by China quake

cnn.com — Relief troops walking hours on foot over rock, debris and mud are trying to reach the worst-hit area of an earthquake that rocked central China, killing nearly 10,000 people, state-run media reported. The powerful quake also trapped thousands of people, including children buried under the rubble of their schools.
