- legs1, on 09/01/2009, -21/+81OOOOH I Love it!!!!! The heads of the neocons are spinning with anger. Look at these posts! You can tell when they are in a corner, all they can do is criticize the messenger! Toughen up boys, Obama is already one of the most productive Presidents in history and he hasn't been in office for a year yet! Hah! LOL
- BIGOTHER1, on 09/01/2009, -16/+53Obama has done a better job, and the news just hasn't carried the headlines they did for Bush because the media isn't being spun the way the Bush regime spun it...
- Beakers, on 09/01/2009, -10/+40You are an idiot.
- BIGOTHER1, on 09/01/2009, -5/+30The Taliban leader has been killed by our strikes and apparently his second in command as well. That's just one example.
- tastypaste, on 09/01/2009, -5/+28Yes, the Taliban is regrouping and fighting back. You didn't think they were just going to slink away and vanish did you? Obama has already responded to the increased threat and sent reinforcements to Afghanistan to bolster our numbers there. He said this would happen more than a year ago during the primaries and he was right. His plan all along was to move troops from Iraq and put them in Afghanistan, as he was advised to do by the generals on the ground.
- Shadic, on 09/01/2009, -5/+27How's that racism and paranoia doing for ya?
- areber04, on 09/01/2009, -7/+27You know... you almost had a valid point. Then you called Obama a Marxist, and lost 100% of any appearance of credibility or intelligence you previously had earned. Stop watching Fox News, it's bad for your health.
- inactive, on 09/01/2009, -7/+27No, trust Cheney instead.
we all know how awesome he is. - BasalCellBossk, on 09/01/2009, -19/+38Tune in once again, folks, for another installment of 'When !Right Wing ***** Whine and Cry'
- opticwind, on 09/01/2009, -2/+20I don't mean to criticize, but I respectfully point out that it's unlikely Obama is responsible for military wins, at least any more or less than Bush was. The generals are in charge there.
- bobtheunholy, on 09/01/2009, -4/+21Oooo you're so scathing.. You can't even bear to say his name you're so disgusted. Big O. Clever nicknames are the first step back in credibility. You don't honestly think of that as a serious insult do you. Let me guess.. what the O stands for is a secret you and your little friends giggle about behind the swing set at recess.
- tastypaste, on 09/01/2009, -2/+19Really? I'd like to know where you got that statistic. Or did you just make it up on the spot?
- TwwIX, on 09/01/2009, -17/+34***** Cheney!
That is all. - Tenlow, on 09/01/2009, -9/+24That was bush. Remember the last 8 years? Cutting taxes and increasing spending? Starting a war for no reason? Any of this ringing a bell yet?
- Propethic, on 09/01/2009, -1/+15lol billions to ACORN stop watching fox news
- Moralogic, on 09/01/2009, -2/+16legs, it really looks like you got under their skin some more. They don't have a valid argument against any of this, so they have to resort to digging out the rusted bits in the bottom of the barrel.
- inactive, on 09/01/2009, -4/+17Even if that's the case, you didn't mind before, suddenly you mind now.
- bobtheunholy, on 09/01/2009, -1/+14And I heard there were some puppies in there too.
- DaviDTC, on 09/01/2009, -10/+23You know you have no argument when you have to mention the type of dog the President gets for his family. You're really that butthurt over the type of dog someone gets?
- bobtheunholy, on 09/01/2009, -6/+18But you trust talk show hosts to hand you the truth while calling other people close minded for not listening to their biased view. How does your mind reconcile that inconsistency?
nomarxist quote from one day ago:
"You are closed minded, and I will bet that you have never listened to Glenn Beck or Rush. Tune in sometime soon, as you really need to learn what is really happening."
Look at what you're saying.. I won't listen to anything this source is saying and I'm open minded but you need to listen to this source which I believe in or you're closeminded.
Do you pay attention to what you've typed or is it lost the second you finish? - absurdist, on 09/01/2009, -2/+14We had the largest terrorist attack in U.S. history on Bush/Cheney's watch, or have you forgotten that?
- Mercedes383, on 09/01/2009, -3/+15How often are these disasters 'Man mad'?
- chameleon789, on 09/01/2009, -2/+13^ I'd put money on this being the most trustworthy comment of the article.
- opticwind, on 09/01/2009, -6/+17Hell I don't know who to believe anymore about anything.
- Gguillorn, on 09/01/2009, -2/+12According to you, we have the right to force Scotland into doing whatever we want, but Obama is the narcissist?
- bobtheunholy, on 09/01/2009, -5/+15I think I finally understand the basic GOP/FOX objective.Never admit mistakes and press your correctness no matter how unbalanced the facts are. When the facts become overwhelmingly clear and you're not on the winning team, change the story and act as if whatever was said before is irrelevant. Press ideas early on for preconditioned responses later. Whip up people into a frenzy to gain political advantage but make sure you never make your audience feel as if they've sided with the wrong team. You want them to feel as if they are cheering on their favorite sports team and yelling down the other team. In this way you gain money and power.
The end product is you. USDA approved, packaged for freshness and guaranteed to question only what you've been programmed to question.
You see, they started telling you that we were robots first so you wouldn't suspect that that's exactly what they have made you into. You have been indoctrinated into an ideology that will never encourage you to engage in critical self-evaluation. Oh you'll question things, only think about how many of those you came up with yourself and how many were handed to you by some loud mouthed talk show host. - DeadpoolPHP, on 09/01/2009, -16/+26Dick Cheney needs to STFU and GTFO. He's pissed because the crimes that he and the Bush administration authorized (torture) are being investigated, so he's going to whatever he can to try and discredit the Obama administration to make what he did seem "right".
- tastypaste, on 09/01/2009, -5/+14Global terrorist attacks increased during the Bush administration mostly because of the ***** he made in Iraq. He helped terrorism more than he hurt it.
- bobtheunholy, on 09/01/2009, -3/+12You DO know that that only means "God is great" right? And that not all Muslims are terr.. oh ***** it why bother. Tell you what.. if you can understand how this applies to you I'll buy a t-shirt.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T69TOuqaqXI - lemur, on 09/01/2009, -15/+24If Bush hadn't been president at all I believe that worldwide terrorist attacks would have been DRAMATICALLY lower.
- RagManX, on 09/01/2009, -1/+10"Right after the attack, all the same types that support Obama were rabidly against Bush sending troops into Afghanistan."
Rewritten history is rewritten.
Sure, there were a lot of people opposed to Afghanistan, but "all" or "most" is not accurate. In the beginning of 2002, 93% of the nation felt sending troops into Afghanistan was the right thing to do. No way to get that number if most of Pres. Obama's current supporters were against it.

Try at least criticizing based on facts, not Faux talking points. - sodade, on 09/01/2009, -4/+13The fear is strong in this one.
- absurdist, on 09/01/2009, -1/+9Damn right, Bush got results. The biggest terrorist attack in modern American history on his watch! Texas-size! Yeah, baby! U-S-A!! U-S-A!!
Everyone who blathers on about "no attacks after 9-11" needs to keep that point in mind. - DaviDTC, on 09/01/2009, -3/+11Whoa, clue me in on this terrorist attack that has taken place on American soil since Obama has been President.
- lightningrod220, on 09/01/2009, -0/+8Actually, the 9/11 hijackers had been planning and doing recon work as early as '93 and '97. It probably wouldn't have made a difference who was president.
- deslock, on 09/01/2009, -2/+10Amen! Contrast the town halls from Bush years and those from Obama. Free speech is heard for the first time in 8 years. And the media gets to cover it.
Obama is a brave man. - orlandogeek, on 09/01/2009, -3/+11Not to mention after they willfully ignored intelligence that something was being planned.
- Moralogic, on 09/01/2009, -4/+11Tripled, really? Nice to see that you can talk out of your ass, but I rather have you talk out of your mouth. Maybe the proximity to your brain will make it so you use real numbers instead of making yourself look like a dumbass. Quit drinking the kool-aid and actually look at data instead of believing the BS you hear Rush say.
- orlandogeek, on 09/01/2009, -2/+9The first WTC bombing happened in 1993. The second attack happened in 2001. That's a span of roughly 8 years. The fact that nothing happened after 9/11 has absolutely nothing to do with Cowboy & Captain Torture's national security policy.
- inactive, on 09/02/2009, -0/+7steve seriously, STFU. You lost. Go find another forum to argue in.
- ChuckDees, on 09/01/2009, -3/+10@mike
So politicians getting re elected with the help of private health care money.
Has zero to do with conservative Democrats or even Republicans opposing the plan?
Every member of Congress except the Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown from Ohio has taken the Congressional insurance plan.
Sen. Brown said he wouldn't take insurance until all of Ohio had universal coverage.
The Congressional plan is a non profit model.
Odd all those "conservatives" have no problem using insurance for themselves which anti free market and profit. - inactive, on 09/01/2009, -3/+10Actually, the fact that we had a terrorist attack on American soil during 9-11 proves that Cheney and co. were, and are, full of *****. It proves the opposite of his point. You can't ***** up royally and then use the fact that you haven't ***** up since as proving that your good at stopping terrorism.
Now if Obama can stop terrorism with out using illegal wire taps, torture, and Extraordinary rendition then he would have a serious claim to whip out his black dick and ***** Cheny in that wrinkled ass. - Mnementh2230, on 09/02/2009, -0/+7@stevebee - ever heard of a "free speech zone"?
- BasalCellBossk, on 09/01/2009, -10/+17^butthurt
- inactive, on 09/01/2009, -3/+10he does but rationalizes it away, Cognitive dissonance is a bitch.
- StaticThunder, on 09/01/2009, -1/+8No, its my magic rock that kept the terrorists away after 9-11. And my rock is still working to this day. The proof is that there have been no attacks.
How dare you try to steal the credit for Cheney. - ChuckDees, on 09/01/2009, -9/+15Odd to hear right wingers questioning Gen. Jones. A four star Marine Corps general.
Someone Condi Rice asked twice to become the deputy Sec.of State. Sounds like a real liberal who would lie to make the boss sound better.
It isn't like he went before the UN and lied about Iraq. Like Colin Powell did. - dirtyoldtown, on 09/01/2009, -2/+8"maybe if clinton didn't completely dismantle the military, and wreck any intel agencies we had, it could have been avoided. it takes a long time to break and fix things, and clinton made a HUGE mess that was a major contributor to 9/11."
Unfortunately, that entire statement is false. The huge success that the U.S. had in Iraq during the first few years of the war was all thanks to the military that the Clinton administration had built. If he has, as you said, dismantled the military Bush and co. wouldn't have had time to fix things before going to war. Luckily for them, Clinton left the military in fantastic shape. His administration had left some intel reports for the Bush administration concerning terrorist attacks possibly using airplanes. So Clinton didn't contribute to 9/11. He left Bush with a lot to work with. Too bad Bush spent 2 of his 8 years as president on vacation. - Mnementh2230, on 09/02/2009, -0/+6"I am happy and proud to insult the man."
I'm glad to know you're proud of your immaturity.
"And we don't really know if his name was legally changed when his mother married Lolo Soetoro."
There is no legal documentation of this, therefore it never happened.
"But if I call him by a name that he once went by, why do you consider that an insult?"
It is not his name now, nor was it ever his legal name in the United States. Would you like it if I called you by a childhood nickname all the time? Probably not. - bsmang, on 09/01/2009, -4/+10So what's your point? That the system is broken and that corporate lobbyists need to GTFO? I'll agree with you if that's the case.
