- bigsid920, on 11/21/2007, -11/+126I'm the furthest thing from a Clinton supporter, but I really fear Giuliani as President more then Clinton. Both of them are corrupt to the core.
- nblsavage, on 11/21/2007, -1/+84It's sad when one of your criteria for choosing a president is who will do the least amount of damage.
- thespudmall, on 11/21/2007, -2/+76Giuliani did not do anything special on 9/11. He merely did what any mayor or governor would do. He never brought people together. That happened on it's own.
- tastypickles, on 11/21/2007, -4/+55Poser, not Leader. Not President.
- Frei, on 11/21/2007, -5/+46Except this is based on facts.
- Enochyang, on 11/21/2007, -1/+33Make a reverse donation on Giuliani by clicking on his Google ads and costing him money! (saw this brilliant idea on reddit)

- TheHydrogens, on 11/21/2007, -2/+21Before anybody starts, don't feed the troll.
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -2/+20I don't understand why NY is a 'Either it's Guiliani or Hillary" state like it's a football game or something.
Both of those candidates won't talk to the people unless they're screened.
The democrats best diplomatic bet is Biden who is nowhere in the polls. He has the most experience and respect.
Hillary has no experience yet she is #1. This country is stupid to support her because "she isn't Bush".
It appears to me that this election is just a Media game anyway. Fox vs CNN, not Democrat issues vs Republican issues (or any issues for that matter)
I really hope that the primaries have some upsets to show that the media isn't in power but I fear that that won't be the case. - bcamp1973, on 11/21/2007, -1/+18actually, it's sad that you think nblsavage is the dumb one.
- hmalik, on 11/21/2007, -0/+15Support our Firefighters....the real heroes.

- schroeder, on 11/21/2007, -1/+13New York also hates Rudy. The 9/11 responders hate Rudy. He takes credit where he is not due and hides his incompetence behind 9/11. If the city he ran and the people he was in charge of during a disaster despise the man don't you think that means something? Do you not see a problem with that?
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -1/+12Can you tell me what is likable about Rudy?
He has scandal written all over his staff, he has a pedophile priest as an adviser - probably a cabinet member if elected, and he is no different from HIllary.
People with sense have serious issues with those 2 people running for a governing office especially for the Presidency.
I'd take Romney or MCain over Guiliani in a heartbeat; hell, even Huckabee.
If it's going to be Guiliani vs HIllary, I'd rather sink the ship and go with HIllary - we're doomed anyway. - lennybird, on 11/21/2007, -0/+11random fact: To vote for the lesser evil of the two candidates is called a "clothespin vote".
- falseleftright, on 11/21/2007, -1/+11Guliani lost a straw poll to Ron Paul which was held in NYC. That doesn't speak too well of Rudy's legacy there, does it?
- falseleftright, on 11/21/2007, -1/+11The good news is, you have other options.
- laeteralis462, on 11/21/2007, -5/+14Just another advantage of having known ahead of time - not only does it give Bush a reason to wage war, it gives future presidents an excuse to wage war. All part of the plan.
- schroeder, on 11/21/2007, -1/+10People came out to help from upstate NY and New Jersey. That was of their own accord. The firemen and police did what any would do in such a situation. Rudy just sat around ***** things up (radios that didn't work, pulling people from the site after a month, the tower rebuild project, etc.) and did not show any remarkable leadership.
- falseleftright, on 11/21/2007, -2/+11We will.
- slantyeyed, on 11/21/2007, -3/+10Hmm, i wonder what Hillary Clinton was doing on 9/11 as well?
- objectcode, on 11/21/2007, -2/+9what a douche
- spyd3rweb, on 11/21/2007, -3/+10Im just going to go ahead and say look at Time's other men of the year, George Bush, and Adolf Hitler.
- fotbr, on 11/21/2007, -1/+8sorry lefty, NYC isn't anywhere near being "one of the largest governments in the world"
- fotbr, on 11/21/2007, -1/+8And just about everyone who can use the grey matter between their ears, says otherwise.
- schroeder, on 11/21/2007, -1/+7I lived in lower upstate NY during 9/11 and a lot of the volunteer firemen went out to help. I know people who have lived in NY for along time. People keep saying these things because they're true and idiots like you want to believe *****. I guess there's no winning against willful ignorance.
- cavergeek, on 11/21/2007, -2/+8Does it matter?
- GhostyBoy, on 11/21/2007, -1/+7I don't trust the polls at all. Are we really to believe that none of this bad (brutal) publicity has really hurt Rudy's chances?
If this guy wins the primary, I call vote fraud. - cavergeek, on 11/21/2007, -2/+8Why is this guy still a "front runner"? He cant answer a question or give a speech without mentioning 9/11. Is that really what republicans want to elect a president on?
Read My Lips: Nine-One-One - RonBurgundy76, on 11/21/2007, -3/+8random fact: it's also still a vote for evil.
- shartman, on 11/21/2007, -3/+8Don't forget Cross Dresser...
- thespudmall, on 11/21/2007, -0/+5Now to make this automated!
- walkingdogs, on 11/21/2007, -1/+6Sadder that people such as you are allowed to reproduce. The wise can play the fool but the fool can't play the wise. There IS a cure for your rectal cranial inversion. I don't understand that you can stick by a fool who has bankrupted the financial and moral banks of this country. We are part of the world not THE world. The walls of this country are crumbling and you stand by as the rocks fall down on you and are to stupid to realize it.
- fotbr, on 11/21/2007, -1/+6she was doing just as much leading as rudy was -- none.

Is that really all you've got, troll? - inactive, on 11/21/2007, -1/+6what a dick
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -0/+4well,here's an opinion from someone who lives in brooklyn, and has for a long time. and yes,i was on the pile, and yes,i know ppl who died that day too. (but everyone does in ny,unfortunately.)
so anyways,it's my opinion that the reason you sit on digg so much being a little troll bitch is that if you spouted any of your retarded crap on the streets of nyc, you'd get either laughed at,or more likely, get your ass kicked in very short order.
i think most would agree with me ;) so you can go on and vent all you want-sad that this is the only place people actually interact with you though :/ digg is cool and all,but it's a sad excuse for actual conversations with real people. when people have friends, they generally don't feel such a need to argue with anonymous people on the internets. - cavergeek, on 11/21/2007, -0/+4What every other member of the House and Senate was doing; sitting there shocked, watching on tv with the rest of us.
That and making sure they didn't get attacked since a plane crashed into the freaking Pentagon. - falseleftright, on 11/21/2007, -5/+9He who lives by the sword shall die by the sword. Rudy Guliani, swashbuckler of 9/11 extraordinaire, your sword is beginning to penetrate your abdomen. Soon, it will pass through intestinal tissue, various vital organs, and come out of your back. Finally, your limp form will slide down the blade until it rests comfortably on the floor. Then, your political career will be, thankfully, dead. Happy Thanksgiving!
- RonBurgundy76, on 11/21/2007, -0/+4Oddly enough, he didn't seem to have an answer to that one :)
- obelisky, on 11/21/2007, -1/+5ya don't mess with him, he might kill ya... what a n00b
- falseleftright, on 11/21/2007, -2/+6You are locked into the falseleftright paradigm. Sad for you.
- cavergeek, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3I am surprisingly offended by that cover.
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3I want to call you out, for your opinion is completely counter to the opinions that any reasonable person would arrive at based on Rudy Giuliani's past and current performance and behavior. Which should be contempt and disgust for his abusing the Public Trust he was entrusted and empowered with.
Please list Rudy Giuliani's accomplishments as you see them. - inactive, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3holy crap, you're a full time troll, ain't ya?
- schroeder, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3News flash, they hate Hillary too.
- TheLoneHoot, on 11/22/2007, -0/+3He most certainly did NOT show "leadership" in the aftermath of 9/11 - he showed "showmanship". It was one non-stop photo op for that bastard. His leadership would have been a welcome thing if it had ever been there to support the NYFD. His willingness, and the willingness of the corporate media (most notably Fox News), to perpetuate the lie of "America's Mayor" , is in itself a violation of the public trust. His outrageous claims of having spent more time at ground zero than anyone else are not only bald-faced lies, they are outright heinous insults to those who actually have been there and risked their health to help.
And I seriously doubt he single handedly created a downturn in crime figures for Manhattan. Yes, crime is down, but I seriously doubt he was the sole or even primary drive behind the trend.
Northern Republican? Apparently you don't know your partisan history too well... the deep south has historically been more slanted to the Democratic party. The Republican party has gained some ground only recently, historically speaking.
Finally, I don't see that anyone implied you were being unreasonable in the slightest. You inferred that all on your own. Something on your mind there? And as for media bias, my guess is you only take in "news" from commercial news sources... those are, contrary to right-wing propaganda, notably slanted to a corporate-friendly conservative bent. - RonBurgundy76, on 11/21/2007, -2/+5Being admired by tards doesn't make you important or intelligent.
