foxnews.com — A quiet, upscale neighborhood in Charlotte, N.C., is being rocked by one resident who is calling for the death of American troops in Iraq and supporting Al Qaeda through his Web site, which he reportedly runs from his parents' home.

    JESUS CHRIST WAS CONFRONTED WITH THE SAME SITUATION. BUT HE SAID, "HE WHO IS WITHOUT SIN, MAY CAST THE FIRST STONE." NOT ONE STONE WAS CAST, BECAUSE ALL OF HER ACCUSERS HAD SINNED. HE THEN TURNED TO THE ADULTRESS AND SAID, "GO BACK TO HUSBAND, AND SIN NO MORE." SHE WAS FORGIVEN.

And you can be assured that the ACLU would take action against anyone posting sentiments against Samir Khan, if they could identify the writers as white Christians. The First Amendment is not a suicide pact with those espousing hatred and violence.

    A Christian in a Muslim land, doing what this jihadist has done here, would not last hours, let alone years. Gitmo is too good for him, he rates only half fare.

    Many readers of The Bible are somewhat puzzled when they come across the above verses. Satan said that the kingdoms of the earth were his to give, and more surprisingly, Jesus Christ didn't refute that claim.

    While I commend your efforts and acknowledge your scholarship, I am left unimpressed and insulted by the lack of Muslim expression of support for American ideals, American largesse, and American law. Having been raised abroad, I readily can accept that lack from Muslims living abroad, but find it shocking and disturbing that Muslims living in the United States apparently choose solidarity with the Muslims abroad who cheered the 9/11 assault and cheer the beheading of American civilians and dragging of bodies through streets.

    Moreso, your scholarship leaves out the long and astonishing legacy of violence wrought by Muslim extremists which far predates the defensive response enjoined by the USA. You insult Israel yet make no mention that it is Arabia which keeps Palestine in poverty. The palaces of Mecca stand in shame beneath the shadows of the slums of Ramallah.

    Do not patronize me by offering me your book. I have my own, from the Bible through the Great Books, which inform and inspire my legal codes and community responsibilities. If you choose to live in a Western democracy, you need to accept that society and you have no place imposing your social mores on your chosen neighbors. If you do this as prosyletization, so be it. But I will not welcome your legal strictures and social structure into my community. My daughter will not be your second class citizen.

No other religion teaches the depth or seriousness of sin and its consequences. No other religion offers the infinite payment of sin that only Jesus Christ could provide. No other “religious founder” was God become man (John 1:1,14) – the only way an infinite debt could be paid. Jesus had to be God so that He could pay our debt. Jesus had to be man so He could die. Salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ! “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is NO OTHER NAME under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

          As a very young "physicist" I'm sure you have the entire Universe already figured out...before we begin the debate over whether Scripture is just like a comic book, I would ask you one thing...have you actually read the Bible? The entire Bible...all 66 books written by over 40 authors on 3 continents in 3 different languages, over a span of about 1500 years (with the entire work being in total agreement from beginning to end)...because if you haven't, and if you haven't studied the archaeological evidence that shows the accuracy of Scripture, both secular historical evidence and religious historical evidence...then we won't have a common understanding by which to debate whether or not the Bible is just like a comic book about Superman.

          But I'm sure, in your vast measure of experience and theological study, you have found by means of scientific and logical evaluation that the Bible is just like a comic strip...brilliant!

          Yes, I have read the Bible actually. As you can see I live in the UK, where we still have an official religion, and a huge majority of schools practise that religion.

          I never stated the Bible was analogous to the Superman comics, perhaps you should get your eyes checked. What I did say is that you using the Bible for evidence of Jesus and evidence that he is a God would be the same as me using the Superman comics to prove the existence of Superman.
