- CryRightardCry, on 03/05/2008, -1/+5That's an understatement.
The cops are involved, there is no other possible explaination.
I guess the other possibility is they hire full on hard core retarded people to investigate the crimes.
- dolphus, on 03/05/2008, -0/+9This issue was recently highlighted in a movie "Bordertown" with Jennifer Lopez and Antonio Banderas.
- robbh66, on 03/05/2008, -0/+6And people might have actually watched it had it not contained Jennifer Lopez.
- andreo, on 03/05/2008, -0/+7This is the first time I've heard about this. How does that many women go missing in a town, even over that span of years, and nobody knows anything?
- ASSHO, on 05/06/2008, -0/+1I just found out about this from a friend of mine a few days ago. He says that Juarez is considered to be a serial killer haven and playground.
- dracostimpy, on 03/05/2008, -7/+12Maybe the chupacabra ate your womens.

- digindrivefast, on 03/06/2008, -1/+5In a city of 2 million people, over 15 years time, that is aprox. 14 deaths per year, un-explained, not properly investigated and dead is dead. Travel in and around must be hell and making a living has got to be a daily walking nightmare! Here's the deal, you have to go in groups and protect & cover!
A bunch of corrupt freaks, both sides of the border, mixed with all manner of death, hell & exploitation!
This author points to:
"They are mainly young women between 17 and 22 years of age, but there also some victims who are younger, between one and four years old. They are hack workers in a corporations owned by Americans and which use cheap a Latin-American workforce. For this reason, many think that these crimes are connected with the American corporations which have branch-offices in the town."
If that is the case then the "cross border" factions of this whole drama better get together and knock some heads, collectively!- futureisours, on 03/06/2008, -1/+1oh sure blame the americans. idiot.
- typicalusername, on 03/06/2008, -0/+1Yes, obviously journalistic integrity is thrown right out the window. A journalism teacher once told me. There's one difference between real journalism and propaganda, real journalism tells a story from both sides and lets the reader decide the truth.
- mathchemist, on 03/06/2008, -2/+2I like to download illegal juarez.
- chaserm, on 03/06/2008, -7/+2What do you expect from stinking corrupt Mexicans? They have been raping and killing women in LA for years!
- santasing, on 03/06/2008, -0/+2I saw the movie Juarez Mexico. Please never, ever watch it. The story itself is true, and horrible, but the movie is a sham.
- clintstarkiller, on 03/06/2008, -0/+3small town? since when is a city with 1 million people a "small town"?
- Madmod, on 03/06/2008, -0/+3I live in el paso with is less than a mile away from J-town (nickname). This is rarely on the news at all. the most attention paid to juarez is when they wanted to build the wall seperating the USA from mexico, why? Its a dirty town were teens cross to drink and party, cops are paid off with a 20$. Mexico is ashamed of it and so is el paso. so no one care what happens and how corrupt it is. the reason for so many deaths
- MrRuslan, on 03/07/2008, -0/+2This needs to get on the front page, something like this can't be ignored.
