  • allisonrose870, on 05/21/2008, -2/+5Spent four years at SUNY Plattsburgh and frequently took the ferry to Burlington to hang with a friend attending UVM, so I am familiar with the regions weather and this is a colder departure from its norm for this time of year. Global Warming is as much a hoax as its founder the 'Gore'icle himself. I'm still aghast he's been honored with a NPP and an Oscar. Just proves its politics and nothing more.

  • IconoclastStill, on 05/22/2008, -1/+5Hell, I lived in northern NH until four years ago and have seen ground so thawed (ONCE !!) I could harvest parsnips in January and February, while many other other years it was so cold the nails shrank away from the clapboards (a really frightening sound at 0-dark-hundred if you have an active imagination!). This spring has been colder than usual - the bugs are not out and I still haven't turned on the A/C, which is usually a May Day event. What a con owl is running with his gorebull scamming!

  • 4wheel, on 05/22/2008, -1/+5Haven't you heard? Since the term "Global Warming" has turned out to be such a joke, the left has modified the term. It's now to be called "Climate Change". There's several things wrong with using that term also. Climate change has been occuring every year since time began. They even came up with names for "seasons" to define it. I guess that concept went right over these folks heads.
