    Don't for get the ask your senators to support S.604 it is the senate companion bill to H.R.1207.

  • UnFriendlyFire, on 06/30/2009, -2/+11FTA - Unfortunately for Paul, the bill appears to be idling in the House Financial Services Committee, which is chaired by Barney Frank, D-Mass. The bill has been sitting there, gathering co-sponsors, since Paul introduced it in late February.

    1)RP has more positive 'name recognition' than any other gOP figure at the grassroots (as opposed to the good ol' boys leadership) level. Thats the reason for the campaign of innuendo (racism etc) --turf protection.
    2)RP is the ONLY hope to restore the Republic in this generation, something leadership in BOTH Parties (and their henchmen online) will stop at nothing to prevent.

Ron Paul can get sponsors from now until the cows come home, but Barney Frank will never let it out of committee & if, by some miracle it did get out of committee, Nancy Pelosi would never allow it to come to a vote. Nor is there any chance that it will even get heard in the Senate.

    The very last thing the politicians want is an audit of the Fed. My bet is that if they thought it had a chance to come up for a vote, 3/4 of the co-sponsors would back out.

If we repeal legal tender laws, the money in everybody's bank account will suddenly become absolutely worthless. We'll see hyperinflation instantly.

    Look, we're going to see hyperinflation anyway. The dollar is on its way out. If we get rid of the Fed, we'll get the blame for the hyperinflation. It's better to keep them in place so that they cannot escape the blame for what they have caused.
