More discoveries will affirm Yahweh's WORD!
wnd.com — Finding this bulla confirming part of the story of Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) is only one step in Yahweh's revelation to us in these last days. No doubt the Hebrew/Aramaic signatures of the "New Testament" (Renewed Covenant) will be found, and we Hellenists will be confounded! Great is the Name of Yahweh, and great is the Name of Yahshua HaNetzer! Amein!

- Theway2k, on 08/04/2008, -2/+2Take that delusional Muslims who say there was no Jewish Temple. Once again archeology vindicates the Old Testament and disproves the Quran. The Bible is Truth. The Quran is error.
- hotea, on 08/04/2008, -2/+1AWESOME! I become ecstatic when something like this surfaces. How many proofs do people need before they believe the Bible is the Word of God ??????
- cpsteinmetz, on 08/07/2008, -1/+1Not many - one might be enough. But none have surfaced so far, as the Bible is the word of man.
- 4Christ, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2Yes! Yes! yes! need I say more? Except maybe Hallelujah!!! Praise God!
Well....I couldn't help myself.

- katpooh9, on 08/04/2008, -2/+1The Bible has always been proven by archeologists, but some people, either by ignorance or by obstinance never acknowledge the evidence. And about the Quran; it's not just in error, it's an outright lie written by a false prophet, and its false god requires multitudes of human sacrifices in exchange for a promise of getting a bunch of heaving-breasted women. It's pathetic.
- cpsteinmetz, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0Right, "The Bible has always been proven by archeologists." Your statement is exactly reversed - it has never been proven by archaeologists to be the word of your 'God,' It is your ignorance and obstinance that causes you to not acknowledge that archaeologists have shown people living (and dying) 35,000 years ago, no global flood, no Exodus, no walls of Jericho falling to trumpets, etc. And you did know that when the walls of Jericho supposedly fell, Jericho would already have been 5,000 years old?
The Bible may be shown by archaeologists to have some historical value, but that would be it.

- Teribssn, on 08/05/2008, -1/+1WOW! Super Cool! Another piece of evidence proving The Holy Bible is God's Word!
- cpsteinmetz, on 08/07/2008, -1/+1How is that? It proves it has some historical names right - maybe. Remember also that it is "believed" to be the seal.
- 4Christ, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1And just whose "voice" are you? As if I didn't already sense that. Were you perhaps there when they filmed those lies about my Lord. Sowing all those seeds of doubt in the hearts of those who knew no better than to listen to or watch such things? I know from whence the source of that "nature" originated. It was long before this world was ever created.
- cpsteinmetz, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0Well, 4Christ, do you have any objective evidence for the things you "know," and how it "was long before this world was ever created?"
I can never get you believers to provide *any* objective evidence - you all just reply with either more arrogant statements, or you don't bother to answer.
As you seem so certain, it would be nice of you to back up your faith, but it seems the magic words are "objective evidence."

- secretgal, on 08/05/2008, -1/+0Pardon me, but everyone is missing the MAIN INFORMATION IN THAT ARTICLE:
"Mazar told WND the relic was recovered through a wet-sifting process. She says the method was learned after the "illegal excavations" by the Waqf, the Islamic custodians of the Temple Mount, who have been dumping debris in huge mounds."
WHY DOES THE WORLD ALLOW THAT THE MOSLEMS SHOULD BE PERMITTED TO DESTROY EVERY LAST REMAINS POSSIBLE OF PROOF THAT THE BIBLE EXISTS???
They are still allowed to dig and ruin anything they want and no one lifts their voice against them!
People who really care about the authenticity of the Bible and the archeological heritage that belongs to the whole world, should protest to the UN, to their own country's Cultural Attache' of their Embassy and to the Israeli government, Departments of Antiquities of all Universities, etc. NOT TO CONTINUE TO PERMIT THE KNOWING DESTRUCTION OF PUBLIC JUDEO-CHRISTIAN PROPERTY!
DON'T JUST SIT BACK AND SAY, "OH MY"! PICK UP YOUR PHONE/FAX/EMAIL AND DO SOMETHING THAT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE TODAY, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!- cpsteinmetz, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1Don't just sit back - learn to use the caps lock key.
- andersox, on 08/05/2008, -1/+0This is a dazzling find; however, artifacts won't "prove" that the Bible is true to people who don't want to believe in God. Jesus did miracles--in fact His entire life was a miracle. Rather than believe Him, people tried to kill Him. Only a heart that is willing to put God first can believe.
Even if all the Judeo-Christian artifacts in the world were destroyed, it wouldn't make the Bible less true.
And TheWay2K, even though Christians know that the Quran is false, it's not cool to call Muslims "delusional." Everyone who doesn't acknowledge God has been deluded by Satan's lies. You were once "delusional" and so was I. As Christians, we must extend Muslims the same lovingkindness and compassion God extended to us. We're not saved because we're "better" but because God is gracious. - 14Him, on 08/05/2008, -2/+0I don't think the word "delusional" is very far off at all in describing Muslims. Here are some definitions, they seem to fit...
[edit] Indicators of a delusion
(Munro, 1999)
The patient expresses an idea or belief with unusual persistence or force.
That idea appears to exert an undue influence on his or her life, and the way of life is often altered to an inexplicable extent.
Despite his/her profound conviction, there is often a quality of secretiveness or suspicion when the patient is questioned about it.
The individual tends to be humorless and oversensitive, especially about the belief.
There is a quality of centrality: no matter how unlikely it is that these strange things are happening to him, the patient accepts them relatively unquestioningly.
An attempt to contradict the belief is likely to arouse an inappropriately strong emotional reaction, often with irritability and hostility.
The belief is, at the least, unlikely.
The patient is emotionally over-invested in the idea and it overwhelms other elements of his psyche.
The delusion, if acted out, often leads to behaviors which are abnormal and/or out of character, although perhaps understandable in the light of the delusional beliefs.
Individuals who know the patient will observe that his belief and behavior are uncharacteristic and alien
If the glove fits...
You must also be careful and not underestimate the damage these people can do. Love them sure--but don't be afraid to call evil--evil.
Everybody wants to be so politically correct. I wonder if King David ever worried about hurting the enemies feelings before a fight.
God didn't just extend love and compassion, He also extended a sword to those meaning harm to those He loves.- cpsteinmetz, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2Did you not see the irony in this; your definition of "delusional" fits fundamentalist Christians exactly.
- 14Him, on 08/07/2008, -2/+0Its not my definition. The two beliefs are miles apart.1. A true Christian would love to speak out about there Savior, not be secretive.2.Christ does have an enormous influence in a Christians life. But in a positive way. We do not go around strapping bombs to ourselves to promote Christ.3. Most Christians have a sense of humor. Go show a muslim a cartoon of there god and see what happens. 4.Christians are contradicted daily. You don't see rioting in the streets--like in Denmark, England, etc.like with muslims.5.Our belief is true and can be backed up. I don't see how you could compare the two. Not even close..
- cpsteinmetz, on 08/07/2008, -0/+214Him states: Christians "do not go around strapping bombs to ourselves to promote Christ." Obviously, you meant to say something about Christians, such as: 'most' Christians do not do violence. You should then be intellectually honest and note that 'most' Muslims do not either.
About your other assertions about Christians, I should like you to notice the good Christians of South Carolina who threatened a witch with death, cut off the head of her pet parrot, threw bricks through her windows, slashed her tires, etc. And consider the librarian in South Carolina who received death threats for having Harry Potter books on the shelves. And consider Dennis Rader, the BTK killer who was a church president. And consider David Ludwig, an 18 year old from a deeply religious family, who was home schooled, yet became a killer. And consider the large number of Christians who would gladly (and did) kill a Black person. And, look at how many Christians are treating homosexual folk. And, the Westboro Baptist Church folk; and the Christians who want to 'glass over' Muslim countries with nuclear weapons.
Now, go back through the list of characteristics of 'delusion' you gave, and you will see exactly how they fit fundamentalist Christians exactly. - cpsteinmetz, on 08/08/2008, -0/+2I forgot to react to this. 14Him said: "Our belief is true and can be backed up."
That, of course, is the problem. I have constantly asked for believers to back up their beliefs with "objective evidence." Doesn't seem to happen. - 14Him, on 08/08/2008, -2/+0You can label an empty bottle anything you want, I said a TRUE Christian. What those people did is totally inconsistent with what Christ taught.
- cpsteinmetz, on 08/08/2008, -0/+2Ah, the old "not true Christian" argument. Unfortunately, the people involved thought they were 'true' Christians, just as you think you are. They no doubt thought they were doing what a Christian should - follow what they think the Bible says, pray to Jesus, tithe, probably follow Saul/Paul - rather than Jesus, etc.
If your standard is being consistent with what Christ taught, then there are probably no "true" Christians.
Do you (or anyone else who thinks they are 'true' Christians) judge others, take care for tomorrow, pray in public, hate your enemies? Have you given up all your goods and followed him? Are you perfect? Do you only pray the "Lord's Prayer?" Do you hate your father and mother? And the list goes on.
Keep in mind, as a 'true' Christian, you also should follow the Old Testament - which means you would have to follow a strict, jealous and blood-thirsty God's directions, e.g., stoning your rebellious sons, killing sinners, etc.
In short, the 'not true Christian' argument doesn't wash.
- cpsteinmetz, on 08/07/2008, -0/+214Him states: Christians "do not go around strapping bombs to ourselves to promote Christ." - 4Christ, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1Wonderful news! Glory to God! I just pray that soon all will come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
