More Americans joining Russian and Greek Orthodox Christian churches

southbendtribune.com — There are about 250 million Orthodox believers worldwide — and among them are a significant number of newcomers attracted to this ancient way of worship. The trend is especially notable since so few in the United States know about the Eastern Orthodox churches here. In the United States, there are only about 1.2 million Orthodox Christians.
